Russell Wilson could have been a Miami Dolphin

Imagine the excuses for Tannehill if he lost in that fashion:

"The defense blew a 10 point lead!!!"

"The receiver dropped a perfect ball!!!"

"His entire receiving corps is undrafted!!"

"He had 110 passer rating and a career best 12 yards per attempt, he did his job!!!!"

"Stupid coaches with their STUPID COACHING!!!!"

It's not splitting hairs when the qb doesn't do something he needs to...in this thread prior even I have said Wilson does not show eye discipline and stares down his quick in cutters and eventually he will pay but the fact that they get so many one on ones has hidden it to date

And sure enough he did today...wait til Marshall lynch leaves...he better learn it or he's gonna have guys either lbs undercutting them or safeties reading his eyes once he gets more coverage looks and teams don't have to play it so heavily run based

The time between Wilson receiving the shotgun and his release is less than a second. There's no time to look off the DB, only enough time to see Lockette is running the route and let it go.

Maybe he could've audibled out of it, but once that snap went off, I don't see how he could've done anything different.

What the **** are you talking about...does he not stare at it while he's even taking the shotgun snap? Yes he does...the db drives on that route cause of the qb...point blank...he is staring at it the entire way...I'm sorry but what you are saying is just wrong about no qb plays it any different...dead wrong

And Tom Brady should be benched heading into next season solely for his first quarter INT.

That Brady INT was 1,000,000,000 times worse than the Wilson throw... the difference btwn each INT was the situation, and Carroll put Wilson in that terrible situation.

OMG. If the Phins and Pats played in an AFC title game that played out just like that SB did today....... Tannehill would be the greatest QB ever. WR would have gotten killed for not getting to that ball or breaking up that INT. Philbin gets killed for sure and rightfully so. The talk would be how Philbin and that WR ruined the greatest championship game performance ever by a QB.

Actually Hoops has taken a ton of pot shots at other posters in the last few pages. He insults everyone's intelligence and pretends everyone is beneath him as if we should worship his presence and just be grateful that he even showed up. I am simply taking up for them.

Also, Richard Sherman takes pot shots at people all of the time. On the sidelines, in post game interviews, press conferences, and on social media. Did you notice him taking a shot at Revis after they beat Revis for a short TD? I am sure you were rooting for Sherman and Seattle though.
 
I have heard that Wilson will get a $21 million a year deal soon and be possibly the highest paid QB.....that might mean guys like Beast Mode will move on....in the end the Seahawks Dynasty talk may have ended tonight....all because of one play.
