Rutgers and ESPN, Perfect together!

ESPN loves the Big East. Great to see because Louisville/Rutgers Louisville/WVU WVU/Rutgers were all spectacular last year and they're all Thursday night games this year

For some reason I just see Rutgers taking a huge step backwards....great run last season but I wouldnt count on it again.

Cause we lost Brian Leonard? There's a lot of talent left there, including one of the best RBs in the country. We're gonna be good again, unfortunately, so is Louisville.

No because last season was a fluke.....

Lots of teams have a flash in the pan great season but now teams are actually going to get up to play you because they wont go in expecting an easy win. I'm not saying you will be horrible or anything but Im expecting an at least 3 loss season.

Rutgers is fun to watch...just like Louisville. I think Ray Rice will have a big year coming up.

Rutgers will be preseaosn Top 10.

They have a cake schedule in which they play nobody and get WV at home.

Their only test on the road is L'ville.

Rutgers is set up to make a BCS bowl if not the final game. Starting off Top 10 with an easy schedule........their gonna be there in the end!!

Look at their schedule and find 3 losses then. They play nobody!!!!

And after what Boise did this year, teams that play nobody are now gonna get a shot!!!!!

I agree with you, but I'm not so sure about BCS. I don't think they'll be ranked much higher than 10th, and at that place, there's no chance they will make a BCS game with losses to both Louisville and WVU. Even a loss to one of them will make it a stretch, and if they win at least one of those games, they could walk into the Orange Bowl anyway, so the only way I see them going BCS is if they win the Big East. Same for Louisville.

Personally, I am hoping USF, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati all can have some great seasons. The Bg East is certainly getting better but the 2nd level of the Big East (anyone not named Louisville, WVU, or Rutgers) has yet to really show themselves. If the Big East is the real deal, I expect one of those teams to break through and become a power house. I think it'll be USF, maybe Pitt.

They still have to win the Big East to get to the championship game and I dont know if they can do that. An at-large bid perhaps, due to an easy schedule, but I dont see them playing for it all. Who knows maybe the powerhouse Norfolk St can pull off the upset. To top off the easy schedule they have 8 of 12 games at home, wow...

LV, WVU, and whoever they play in a bowl game.

Thats without looking at the schedule.

Not to mention you cant just look at a schedule and pick wins and losses, it's not as simple as that. Im sure someone will pull off an upset on them at some point or at least give them a run for their money, and it will be a team you wouldnt expect.

Im not counting the bowl game as a loss as your season is already determined by then!!!!!!!!

And they get WV at home, I can see them winning that one. WV always has one choke job a year
