Ryan Tannehill 2013: QB Pressure, Completion %, Deep Passing, & YPA Statistics

Do you have any evidence that there shouldn't be one, other than your own opinion, of course?

What do you propose the cutoff should be for statistical significance?

Do you have any evidence other than your opinion?

Any reason why you feel it necessary to change what I wrote?

No, and I'm comfortable saying that such a relationship in theory isn't implausible, based on my own opinion. You on the other hand seem to believe it's some sort of fact that there shouldn't be one.

Still waiting for you to tell me where we should draw the line for statistical significance in terms of deviation from the norm. You may want to take a little time and scour the net so you don't look foolish. ;)

lol you cant answer a question ever unless there is some statistic you can post.
Well, we're not here to talk about me, so perhaps you should start asking relevant questions, like ones about the Miami Dolphins.

i asked you to answer one in the other thread and you tiptoed around it...

ill ask another one tho, if qb play correlates to winning then defense correlates to winning too right?

I would say in particular the pass defense which affects the opposing qbs play

Where is the mike wallace is wide open but wasn't hit for a touchdown stat?

well im saying if the qbs play directly links to winning then the defense who causes qbs to play poorly are "very likely" to win....makes sense right?

Of course which is why passer rating differential IMO is a very important stat. I believe the top 5 teams and 8 of the top 10 in the stat this year made the playoffs. Your qb plays good while you stop the opposing qb = good things happen

that's what I've been trying to say, the qb could play lights out but if the defense sucks you ain't gonna win many games.
