Ryan Tannehill has Become More Consistently Good Lately

Come on now at least Shouright is trying with some positive stats for a change! Thanks I hope we see Tannehill go off tomorrow!

Mt McKinnie has proven considerably harder to breach than Petticoat Junction - and that's a major difference between having your linemen pushed into you and reacting vs having a little more breathing room to be proactive .. and that is also borne out in the decrease in fumbles.
Petticoat Junction....:rotfl1::rotfl1::rotfl1:
i got a good laugh at that, thanks Vaark.

So maybe, just maybe... the way the pocket evolves for a QB cant be quantified in numbers...

No...... surely if that were true, someone would have tried to make the point to shouright before.... oh wait, we did, thousands of times....

Interestingly, however, Tannehill's QB rating on throws made after 2.5 seconds from the snap has decreased by 8 points since October 24th.

Clearly he is inexperienced at having that much time to throw.

Give Shou a break. This thread is explained more thoroughly, makes more sense, and is more positive than normal. The little fuzzy guy is stepping his game up.

Shou..thanks for taking the time to explain that...totally made sense...

Yeh..we bust his ass when his threads are written for NASA ...give him some props that he took the time to explain things. For me....it really made a ton of difference

We need points in the 4th quarter !!!!!!!!!!

Why do people act like the things shrou talks about is rocket science? It's basic stuff you learn in high school.

(not taking a shot at your shrou, just saying std dev isn't hard to understand. And if for some reason you don't understand it, you can google the answer in under 3 minutes.)

Shouright: I have done a deep statistical analysis and determined that Ryan Tannehill is at fault for sacks and everything else with the offense.

Rest of universe: But, the play of the OL has been bad, especially the tackles.

Shouright: No. My stats say otherwise.

Rest of universe: But, but, but, watch the games!!!

Shouright: Tsk, tsk, standard deviations, correlation, averages, observation bias, confounding variables, probability, Sterling Sharpe, blah, blah, blah. Ryan Tannehill.

Rest of universe: The Dolphins just made a trade for a new left tackle.

Shouright: standard deviations, correlation, averages, observation bias, confounding variables, probability, Sterling Sharpe, blah, blah, blah. Ryan Tannehill.

Rest of universe: Sacks are decreasing and the offense is looking better as a results.

Shouright: standard deviations, correlation, averages, observation bias, confounding variables, probability, Sterling Sharpe, blah, blah, blah. Ryan Tannehill.

some time later.....

Shouright: I have done a deep statistical analysis and determined that Ryan Tannehill is playing better, consistently good and I didn't mention sacks or OL play a single time in the post.

Rest of universe: The OL is playing better. We told you so!

Shouright: blah, blah, blah, Sterling Sharpe
