2020 cant get here soon enough
Geez. I'm sorry I was so confused. :rolleyes2:
Sorry for coming across as an egotistical prick but as you can tell this site just has a way to bring it out sometimes.

I see your point. And I'm sure you think I was overreacting based on the egotistical prick comment....but honestly, I wasn't even thinking about you when I typed that. It wasn't directed at our conversation. I'm at work. Doing other things at the same time. I can see how you must've assumed I was referring to you as it was right after I complained about your comment.
Thanks for clarifying. All good, I know things can get testy on these forums, especially when things aren't so gravy on the field (which unfortunately is too often). Since 2002 when I joined the forum, I have seen it all, and been on both sides of the argument. It happens.
Agreed. If the Phins lose this game I think Ross fires Philbin before they board the plane home.To me, Philbin has already sealed his fate. The two leaks to the press this week to Jason Cole and Greg Cote, about Marino and Ross's dissatisfaction with Philbin, are pretty huge.
The only question now is when Ross is going to be able to do it without looking hasty. After the way he botched replacing Tony Sparano in the absolute worst possible ways, he has to do this thing right this time and show that he's learned how to handle these decisions in an acceptable manner.
I think if the team poops the bed against Oakland, he can fire Philbin without looking the fool.

However Philbin IMO can still keep his job beyond this year. Step one, win Sunday and then step two make the play offs. No play offs after this Philbin is gone.
