No, the average QB. There were QBs who improved far more, and there were QBs who were already performing at a level where not much improvement was possible, but who didn't regress. There were also QBs who improved less, and ones who regressed more.

Overall, he was no different from the norm in terms of improvement. However, that means the improvement he showed was by no means exceptional or "special."
