Ryan Tannehill Improved No More than the Average Second-Year Starter at QB since 1994

The difference between a Tom Brady, and a Ryan Tannehill is Heart and Drive. When we beat the Pats 3 weeks ago, Tom was so shook up, he gave a 1 minute interview and cursed, he was so pissed, the Dude cant stand to Lose. Ryan seems just fine with it, just check his post conference after the Jets game, just like Chad Henne, we are going NOWHERE with this Dude. I want someone who cares, pisses Aqua and Orange like I do. No some dotrk who picks his nose on the sideline, and cant beat the Jets at Home, or throw a Deep Ball. We must be cursed for not getting Drew Brees. Trust me Tannehill is not the Dude, mark it. Did not know who plays in the AFC East.

I only saw Marino get upset at answering media questions once and that was the Playoff loss to Jacksonville. Every other time not only did he talk to the media politely, he also did so without placing any blame on anyone other than himself. Your argument is entirely without merit or credibility.

Merit is Winning. When you cant beat the Jets at Home, and get shut out at Buffalo with the Playoffs in the Line, 7 points in 2 games, against 2 bad teams will not keep you around. Stop the suffering, get me a leader. Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Etc. Qbs that Play to Win, and get to the Playoffs.

I was starting to think very highly of Tannehill until those last 2 games. You just can't blow it like that without taking blame. He certainly was not the only one that takes blame but he blew it big time.....So I pretty much went from "Tannehill is gonna be the guy" to "I hope he can become the guy".

No, the average QB. There were QBs who improved far more, and there were QBs who were already performing at a level where not much improvement was possible, but who didn't regress. There were also QBs who improved less, and ones who regressed more.

Overall, he was no different from the norm in terms of improvement. However, that means the improvement he showed was by no means exceptional or "special."

What a sweet if simplistic way of looking at it. So it's does matter Wrs
were dropping passes left and right, or that the rb missed blitz assignments and rushed for a grand total of 10 yards, or that the oline allowed pressure on almost every play. Seriously he should have throw for 4tds.
