Ryan Tannehill is the reason the Dolphins lost this game

I like what you wrote, but you are missing important data.

According to Sporting Charts (http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-receiver-drops-percentage/2014/), until last week Miami Dolphins was the team with most dropped passes in the league, second in dropped passes percentage behind Giants. This site requires 24 hours after game for refreshing data, but it's clear Dolphins got several dropped passes during this weekend.

Also with a new offensive idea based on speed, running game and flexibility, where WR should be able to run just like RB should catch the football, we have a serious issue with Lamar Miller dropping important passes.

I'm sure Ryan Tannehill surely needs to upgrade his game, but what else can we push him if he's hitting his targets, a bunch of stone-handed receivers.

Fans and writers have over-focused on Mike Wallace, but sure-hands guys like Brandon Gibson, Brian Hartline and Jarvis Landry are killing Ryan Tannehill's stats & Dolphins' chances because of dropped passes.

Is RT's accuracy an issue?

Lamar Miller did a fine job yesterday and Tannehill may have been benched at halftime if not for him and Daniel Thomas making nice plays for him on that two minute drill. Lamar Miller was one of the few guys to not drop passes yesterday and along with Mike Wallace was the only one who really came to play on offense.

I watched the Raiders game yesterday and I was surprised at how good David Carr looked, I think that he's the real deal. I expect him to outplay Tannehill next week. His stat line wasn't all that good, but he kept the Raiders in the game and I think that the offense flowed pretty well with him, he played a smart game and looked accurate with a live arm. Tannehill had the higher QBR this week, and in my eyes that's an example of stats lying- Carr was far supeiror yesterday imo, not even close.

Derek Carr but yeah I know what you mean. He's looked better than my estimation coming out of Fresno State. But I'll continue to caution that rookie quarterbacks simply don't put up points. Doesn't matter what they look like. I remember when I did jury duty in Las Vegas and mentioned that I was a sports handicapper. The judge interrupted the voir doire and asked for one pick on Sunday, side and total. I tried to give him a college game but he insisted on pro. I scrambled to think of something with a logical correlation. Luckily the Dolphins were playing at Jacksonville that week. Leftwich was a rookie. Dolphins were -3 and total was something like 39. I told the judge that rookie quarterbacks don't score against a team of that caliber, so take Dolphins and under. I sweated it on Sunday even though jury duty was already over and most likely I'd never see that judge again. Dolphins covered easily and it stayed under.

One reason I discovered that trend was a stupid pick I made on a Las Vegas radio program more than a decade earlier. They went through every game asking for side and total. I was the featured handicapper that week. On the Lions/Vikings game I gave out the favorite and over. Then I realized I was aligning with a rookie quarterback and asking him to put up a flock of points. I was numbed and couldn't think of anything else. The other analysis was flying over my head. Luckily I interrupted the host and told him I was changing my pick. I took other side and under. The audience laughed. How can you reverse both side and total 30 minutes later? I didn't care. I felt more comfortable opposing a rookie. And it worked out. That rookie was Andre Ware. He put up virtually nothing and the other side covered easily.
