Ryan Williams released

bring him in for camp. he IS a better back than DT, and Gilislee . At worst he doesn't make the cut.

Maybe he's not. The more likely scenario is that his injuries have prohibited him from producing. You don't put up the numbers he did at Va Tech by not being very good. By all accounts the coaches at AZ were drooling over him at camp his rookie year until he blew his knee. I'm not sure he can ever recover but it's a low risk with a potentially high reward to bring him in for a look.

I'm with you a 100%.. Sign him to a cheap contract, put him on the PS for a year to let him fully recover. I feel like AZ kept rushing him back after every injury not allowing him time to fully heal and putting him at greater risk for further injury. I think when he's healthy he'll be better than any RB we will get in the 3rd round or later so it would essentially be like saving a draft pick next year.

I'd do it just for the potential to see a dreadlocked #34 with Williams on the back running people over again. Those were my favorite times as a Dolphins fan!

He is a huge Ricky Williams fan so you know he was a dolphins fan at one point in his life. I say we sign him to the vet minimum.
