Ryan's fumbling issue - Hand size?

I'm more concerned about his brain size. Seriously, does anyone know how he did on that intelligence test the players all take in school? Reason I'm going here is his seemingly profound inability to learn he's about to get killed lingering in the pocket. Anyone know if he's bright or not?
He's extremely bright. Do not underestimate his intelligence, that is not the problem. However, he needs to improve his pocket awareness. I don't think that intelligence and pocket awareness are related. Our O-line needs to do a better job of protecting him.

Sense of urgency. Just because you didn't see the hit doesn't mean it should be a 100% certainty to drop it. Tannehill is always excused for lack of experience at the position but that shouldn't apply to fumbles. If anything, his experience at receiver should make him less susceptible to pathetically surrendering the ball whenever bumped.

Philbin should batter Tannehill in the offseason. Forget about getting in sync with the receivers. Blindfold Tannehill and have huge linemen club him and pounce on him from every angle until he learns to protect the football. Then Tannehill can limp to the nearest fancy restaurant and treat them to dinner as a proper thank you.

Brady fumbled when he got hit from behind too.

Hmmmm...

Keep up guys, I know it's tough for you, but at least try!

So did P. Manning yesterday....go figure, a 260lb behemoth coming at you full speed and at impact you drop a ball....weird I know.

I give RT17 a pass on the lost fumble against NE. Blindside hit. Hopefully he starts to get eyes in the back of head. LOL

The 2 to start the 3rd quarter of Indy and Atlanta were similar. We're behind and he gets hit quickly when we have to pass.

So those 3 are just the results of passing so much.

The other 2 are on Ryan. He could have slid against NO.

And against buffalo in that situation of the game that one is on him.

Even in the d comes through quickly you tuck the ball and dive toward line of scrimmage.
You only try to pass if you have room and an open receiver.

Funny how when your arm is up waiting to pass and u get leveled u somehow drop the ball.

The solution is hiking the ball 10 feet further back. Six damn sacks and all people can do is blame the qb. There are not many times the qb is holding the ball too long. If you are getting hit in 3 seconds u are not holding ball too long

Interesting we are talking about this as in tonight's game they did a sidebar on the hand size of Luck, Wilson and Griffin - though it was Gruden explaining that the bigger the hand, the easier it is to throw the ball w/out the laces. They didn't get into fumbling etc. but I did learn that RG3 has 9.5 inch hands for whatever that's worth.
