This was me as well, till I started watching the games with my daughter. The thing I liked most about Saban was that - late in the fourth - when we were ahead and were clearly going to win, he was still pacing the sidelines, screaming at the refs and players. He doesn't just want to win, he wants to completely dominate the league. I want the guy who is upset when we are winning. That will make us better. Parcells is very similar in that regard.

No kidding. Thank you Saban for welcoming back the ones that helped make this the franchise it once was and will become again. This honorary captain idea was a great idea. Hopefully the fans realize what that picture truely represents.

This team has finaly come home again! That picture brought a tear to my eye.

If Saban and Linehan can keep this offense up all year I would be surprised if were not in the playoff hunt. Saban had that Defense dominating! I want next Sunday to come so quick because I want to see if they can keep this up against a team like NYJ who has more fire power on offense.
 
Since this great picture was posted. Did anyone find a picture of Little at the game as well. He was the other honorary captain, right?

one of my all time favorite commercials is Larry Little doing the "we all grew up on McArthurs...McArthurs milk" they showed a clip of him pulling in front of Zonk.

I would have loved to see AND remember that one. I am sure I saw it but, was to young to remember it.

HE LIT A FIRE UNDER THE OFFENCE'S a$$, IM SURE THE OLINE HEARD IT FOR ALL THE FALSE START'S. IT WAS NICE SEENING THE SHOTGUN, 4 WIDE USED EFFECTIVLY.
I DO WISH BOSTON WOULD'VE HAD MORE ACTION.
 
Odd... If it was that late, I should be able to to recall it. I can remember the slogan but not the actual commercial. I am guessing I was around 8 to 10 years old at the time then.

Which actually might explain it a bit. I was up rooted from my home in Grove Port, OH and brought to Upper Arlington, OH during that time. My mom wanted to give me a good education and moved us there around that time. Perhaps I lost track due to trying to reaclimate myself with new classmates.
