Saban had a great plan

We could have had Barnes at Left Tackle...at least he's a left tackle...I don't know what we have now.

I think Saban figures he has 7-8 capable lineman at this point and he will find a way to get the five best on the field. Barnes slid past a lot of other teams, so there must have been something that didn't mesh with him.

I'm not saying our O-line is perfect, but overall this was a weak draft for lineman and I don't know that there were any sure bets.

Saban figures he'll make work what he has this year and with next year being an O-line rich draft, he can make changes then if necessary.

Saban clearly came into this job with the motive to fix our running defense. We had one of the worst last year!!! He came in right away and has made our D-line really strong. The best we have ever had I think. With the 3-4 additions I think our D might be better than last year even with Surtain/Knight leaving.

Yep, and we have just the guy who knows where those "hidden gems" are. This is the first time I can actually say that I ENJOYED the draft. We've racked up.

You hit it right on the head. I also really enjoyed the draft and I don't think I've ever said that before.:)
