Yup. Whether it's the current 3 or we drop 1 and add another, I envision everyone having their chance to "shine."

I don't think there's any chance he'll put Feeley in, unless there is absolutely no other alternative...

I really believe we need to sign Tim Couch. If healthy he has more potential than any qb on our team presently. We need to sign Couch and waive Feeley. I also believe that Frerotte can play good football for us. As long as he plays smart, does not turn the ball over and have picks returned for tds we will be fine. I would rather a qb be 8 for 18 as long has he plays mistake free.

I just love the fact that he doesnt play favorites and doesnt worry about what others think..he just does whats best for the team.. so UNLIKE the wanny erra

I think Gus will do a fine job for our team. He is a smart vet who will keep the mistakes to a minimum. He will start hitting some of those long passes to CC and Boston and Ronnie Brown is big, strong and fast. The o-line will tell the story. They must open some holes for Ronnie and they must give Gus some time to deliver the rock. If the 0-line plays pretty well this offense has plenty of weapons like Ronnie, CC, Boston, McMike, Rickey, when he returns etc. Remember, Wanny is gone, we will no longer be outcoached every game.

This is a ridiculous way to motivate performance. This is college amateur hour. You chose Gus, now stand behind him. Don't let the press know you're unsure of your choice. Grow up Saban

Looks like someone knows more than Saban.

Saban needs to stand behind the people he chooses to start. This aint college. Some of you see this as a motivational tool I just see it as a way of Saban avoiding responsibility. Lets say he really doubts that he made the right choice. Fine wait until the bye week and make an readjustment but dont go the media with your doubts. Now you're gonna have Frerotte looking over his shoulder the entire week. You don't think Gus is going to get tight if he has a few incompletes? The only one this motivates is Sage
