Saban on WQAM with Hank

Wow Hank really puckered up in that interview.

There's a much better one done yesterday in the link I put earlier in this thread.

can you tell me where exactly the interview is from saban at 790, l looked it up but couldn´t find it

wade smith is going to have to toughen up to play inside. he's been a wuss so far in the nfl. i think he can do it and i hope houck makes a man out of this kid and it works out for everyone with smith playing center

I couldn't find it either.

You had to click on the Dan LeBatard show link in the middle of the page.

After you go to http://www.790theticket.com/, scroll down & click the Dan le Batard Show link/button. It will say "Nick Saban joins Dan and Stugotz." right below the button. It should launch Media Player. It's about 29 mins. There are also interviews by Matt Roth (under the Joe Rose Show) and Channing Crowder (under What's Poppin'?).

The Lebatard interview was much better than Fat Hank's. Even thought I'm not a big fan of Lebatard. I like what Saban is doing with the defense. I think we are going to have crazy pressure on the QB this year, which will definitely help our DB's.

One more thing...Is it me or does Nick Saban's voice sound too raspy on the radio? Sounds like he needs to clear his throat or something. I heard it in both interviews.

:roflmao:

I just listened to it... or tried.

I really like Channing but I hope he doesn't ever call plays on the field because the guys won't be able to understand.

I noticed that too....I also noticed that he had no emotion, just straight monotone words in that raspy voice,....it made him sound like a robot.

last night he showed emotion... he misses his family.

I think Nick is tired, the draft has taken a lot out of him... a lot of travelling. Selling up and moving to a different area is tough enough but coaching an NFL team as well...

good luck and fair play to him.

interesting that saban always mentions vernon carey if asked about the why the line should improve, i hope he is the real deal
