Saban Wants Boo'ing to Stop

He is NOT in over his head and it appears that he is trying to make this a family unit and a TEAM. . . fans and all. How would you feel if you were out there and your friends and family were making fun of you. Most teams in this league seem to have better fans than us. How long has it been since the Lions have had a good season and they still sell out there games. Everything on this team has been completely revamped and changed so Step up fin fans and quit turning on your team or find another one!!! You shouldn't be fair weather fans.

I've booed and it only pissed me off and made me play better. As far as playing for the fans? None of these players play for me, they play because they love the game, a pay check....they don't play for fans.

What happened at the game the other night was very well deserved...I didn't participate...but completely understood. Feely hasn't and doesn't learn when to not force the ball...the guy gets paid MILLIONS to make better decisions. I can't fire him or cut him, but I sure can boo if I chose...again if "I" chose.

Booing doesnt help any. Fans need to have some more patience and let the team evolve.
 
It's funny how most people in this thread didn't even watch the PC, they're just basing their opinion on the original post which was incorrect in every way.

Saban never said he wanted the booing to stop. Period.

How do they determine their play when they are on the road and we arn't there to boo??

Exactly like I said booing got us AJ Feeley. That sure helped alot. Then booing last year got us Gus Ferotte. We are on a roll now. Good job guys!

When were booing Fiedler they went out and got AJ. When were booing AJ they went out and got us Gus. Booing resulted in us picking up these 2 plays. AJ much more than Gus.
 
Whew...did Saban open a can of worms or what...well, if he and the players are successful, then the booing will stop, but until then...and even after that, it's still my dime...I come to the games for entertainment...if I am not entertained, I have to vent my frustrations...sorry Nick...the balls in your court now...
 
Booing changed our QB? How about poor play? Or the fact they don't fit... I don't boo my team either... I had a nervous laugh when AJ threw that pick...

A person's play should dictate their status. We as fans need to support the team a little more. I've said that last bad thing about this team, I'm looking at the positives and towards the future... I'll let my silence in the stands speak for me.

Join us and vent your frustrations, or sit there with your thumb up your ***. It really makes no difference to me. But don't sit there and tell us to get a life because we choose to verbally chastize our team. How else are we suppose to let the players / coaches know we're experiencing displeasure???....

This message board is the place to vent your frustrations (and I do ALL the time). Real fans DO NOT boo their team at the games...period.

We went out and got AJ because we wanted to upgrade the position. Booing had nothing to do with it. You actually think that the coaches make their player personnel decisions based on our booing???....

Look at it this way....

You're the buyer, you're spending your hard earned money on something you want done right. The job is done, and you notice it turns out to be a half-*** effort. It's unacceptable. You naturally express your anger, and want it done correctly. The only way to get your point across is to make youself heard....

Booing is basically no different to the everyday fan....

We boo because we're expressing our concern, not because we hate the team or players. How else do you get your point across when your sitting up in the stands???...That is our only way of making ourselves heard.....
