Good post, thats like saying it wasn't fun for me to be a RedSox fan my whole life... It only made it better last year when we won, I routinely find myself floating on air remembering the best 10 days of sports ever.... Like Saban says this is Dolphins togather through thick and thin...
 
I am sorry but I agree with Saban. I mean the WHOLE stadium boo's!! Boo a bad play, boo a bad call, boo the Ref's but hell, don't boo the team that you are there to support. This is a new era and maybe he is trying to change the whole philosphy of the team and maybe the fans. I think people are holding on to this dream that we were going to be a worst to first team in one season. Realistically, that doesn't happen and we as fans need to realize that. He is doing things,oo he is making moves Hell dropping Feeley to number 3 shows that (where are all of the Feeley bashers now lol) but it's a process. If we still suck next season then we can start calling for his head and booing him and them. LOL, man are we spoiled!!! This may be our run at mediocracy (sp) for a season or two. Hell if any of you season ticket holders wanna give up your tix, I will take them off your hands. Too many years of being almost great have spoiled us. Marino Spoiled us. Shula spoiled us. Our D spoiled/carried us. So give it a season or two Saban will spoils us (least I hope so) In any case, I like the fire that he expresses and maybe we will have a fired up team!!! We will win some games, and we will lose some. Lets show that we back the team and support them win or lose!!
 
Booing is part of the game.....WHEN YOUR FAVORITE TEAM STINKS UP THE PLACE.

As I've said before, Saban has got a few things still to get accustomed to in the NFL. Basically little tweaks that he'll have to adjust to...this is yet another one.
 
Good god there's a foul stench in here of a minority who seem to claim a monopoly on what being a "true fan" actually is. Jeezum.
 
God this whole thread is packed with stupidity and ignorance. If the original poster hadn't blatently misconstrued what Saban actually said, then you'd all be praising him for what his comments really are... completely rational and reasonable, and an intelligent view on the subject.

when you gain less than 100 yrds in a half of a football game and your QB of the future goes somewhere to the tune of 4-17....the team or at least the player himself should get booed. They get paid too much money to entertain us (yes..that's what they do...entertain us). We as fans pay there salaries but showing up to games, buying consessions and other Phins related items. With the public funding in nearly every major sports city for stadiums and constant threats of leaving for a better deal.....if they stink...they should be booed.

OK now, off that soap box....I personally have never booed the team I went to see. Home or Away (I have to attend Cowboys games at times as they are the closest team to me...I boo them!) the team I pay to go see is who I cheer for. However, I still feel that what I wrote above still applies if I or anyone else ever felt like booing.
 
Your concept of truth has been corrupted by your lack of distinction between truth and opinion. I thought that much would have been obvious.

How can you sit there and say that when you don't even go to the games???

You do nothing to support this team from the way it looks. If the only support you contribute to the Miami Dolphins are the topics you write on this board, you don't deserve to call yourself a loyal fan IMO....

You're one of those armchair coaches, too lazy to get off your keester and go to a game. Yet somehow you find the nerve to ridicule the one's who actually show up, and suport them in person.....

I don't understand fans like you. You should have no room to comment on this issue IMO. You should just stick to doing what you do best in regards to supporting the Phinz........Nothing.

Look at it this way....

You're the buyer, you're spending your hard earned money on something you want done right. The job is done, and you notice it turns out to be a half-*** effort. It's unacceptable. You naturally express your anger, and want it done correctly. The only way to get your point across is to make youself heard....

Booing is basically no different to the everyday fan....

We boo because we're expressing our concern, not because we hate the team or players. How else do you get your point across when your sitting up in the stands???...That is our only way of making ourselves heard.....

Yeah I understand why people boo. I get that, the point I'm trying to make is that when we got Feeley the coaching staff pretty well knew that unless Feeley came in a dominated over Jay he wasnt going to start, therefore the pickup was basically for the organization (spielman) to show that he was trying to fix the problem when in reality he had no show with Wanny at the reigns.
