Sage Should Be #2

Ok people while I'm not a fan of A.J. at all some of this is a little crazy. Sage hasn't played all year against a 1st string D. He is usually in with the 3rd or 4th, while he and Brock have looked good. They havent done anything against high talent players.

Saying this I'm not saying he couldnt be better than Feeley but lets not go throwing out that Sage is better when the fact is he is playing against totally different level of players. Let him come in 2nd string and see how he does then I may be impressed but as for him playing against 3rd and 4th string D's, he has to show more against top notch players.

Maybe Nick will put him 2nd on the depth chart. I wouldnt mind seeing what he can do, but dont go saying he is better because he has out played some 3rd and 4th stringers.

Feeley was a third stringer before he got here. And for some reason just because Speilman gave up a 2nd on him, he automatically becomes a starter? Just as feeley is getting his shot. Sage is no different. He deserves a shot too. How long to you keep 'developing" Feeley? How many mistakes? His ALREADY throwing INTs.

True...

sage hasn't done anything b/c he hasn't been given a fair chance.

i say let him get this week's game with the no 1 offense.

If Feeley doesn't improve in the rest of the PS games, then yes. But if he does, then no.

Hasn't been given a chance? You have to be kidding me, How many years has he been on the team?

He was also given the chance to shop his services around the league this offseason. no one wanted him. The guy is a career 3rd stringer, nothing more.

doesnt matter how many years he's been on the team, he's never really been given a shot to compete for the starting job, it's always been *******(take your pick) against fiedler. now it's feeley/ferotte

I'm not saying he's better mind you, but you can't say he isnt if he doesnt get to play with the #1's against the #1's

i dont believe wanny gave real competitions for jobs. i believe that saban is a little more open minded about evaluating the sqaud at every position. He has no history with the guys. He can come in and make any decisions he has to.

Sage has a better shot this year than any other. But so do ALL the QBS. Let the best man win.

IMO, Feeley was a "wanny pick", Meaning it doesn't worth a Horses**t.
Saban brought Berlin in. Sage is getting some playing time in PS and is proving us he worth a shot ! I think the QB revolution is in process in Miami, Just be patient folks, Saban never told us we would win the big Game within ONE season, but within 2 or 3... I don't know... Life is like a box of chocolates...

Fred'83, only French Finfan on this board, and proud of it !
fastballer83 is from France....

Is there some significance of the number 83 in France?

I'll admit, I was definately a Feeley supporter coming into this year, but I'm really disappointed so far...he's showing no improvement. If a UDFA is gaining on him, we have a problem. Far as Sage goes, he's shown enough that he should be allowed to get some game action against 1st stringers, IMO and should be allowed to compete with Feeley and Gus for #1 (not sayin he'll get it, im not sure...but give the guy a chance and he might surprise. I do want to see how he adjusts to playing starters on D, though).
