If we land a LT like D'Brickshaw Fergueson or Marcus McNeil you will see Carey moved back to RT where he is physically a better fit. The two I mentioned are FRANCHISE LT's, and would push Carey to his more natural RT position.

There are alot of one year deals on the team right now. When the season is over Saban can pick who's worth keeping and trash the rest. Maybe we'll get some compensation picks, that would be a nice change.

I dont think there is a team in the league that doesnt want D'Brickshaw, this guy draws comparisons to Jonathan Ogden in the way he seems to "toy" with lineman. He would easily be the starter on 20-25 teams as a rookie.

I think he's a top 5 pick, if we are in there we should take him with no hesitation.

I would love for us to draft Brickshaw next year but it would not make us a better team next year. Rarely have LT joined the league and dominated their first year. O-line is groomed for a year or two then they have an impact. We still need to pick up a great center to get a bit of hope out of this sorry bunch.
