It goes beyond that she had a long history of over stepping her bounds and pissing off players during negotiations. That little glimpse on hard knocks was her soft side. I lived in Cleveland during her tenure and to say she was hated is being nice.

Being good at managing the cap will get you hated by the players. You cant have both. She paid by the team to protect their interest. Players with thinner wallets = more cap space = players angry at managemnt.

Completely disagree. Giving in to every player's financial demands will get you in salary cap hell. Not giving into their lofty financial demands and being financially responsible will get you disliked by players. Every player and agent thinks they are worth more money, does that mean you give it to them?

I agree that we're competitive, we do play with some force and passion, but we don't make enough halftime changes to help us rebound, and we lose leads quickly and embarrassingly. These kinds of issues happen to teams that don't know what the heck they're doing when things start going wrong -- aka, NOT elite teams. It's one thing to lose a game because you were simply bested. It's another when you're causing your own pitfalls and pissing away opportunities. That shows that the issues are internal. You hear Tannehill and Wallace say it after every game - "We need to make more plays."
Which leads to Sherman's playcalling, and the lack of proper personnel on the field. It's about time Philbin does something about these issues.

Coaches do that. Considering you have to play 60 minutes of football and we only play during the halves that dont win you games. All coaches preach games will be won in the 4th qtr.

Ok so Philbin has won 10 half games and lost 4, netting him a 3-4 records. So I guess he has a winning record? We judge on entire games played. There is no stat for half games.

You are talking strategy, I'm talking results.
 
That article makes me sick. Why doesn't Philbin do anything to discredit all this negative press?!
