Salguero: Aponte clashed with Ireland, shadowing Philbin around

There is some rampant speculation going on here. Seriously, this forum... Am I reading YouTube comments? I ask myself why I keep subjecting myself to this low brow hate of the football team that I root for. I guess it is just because I've been browsing here for so long, just a bad habit now...

Before the season started everyone was praising Aponte on her work here, now we have idiots making misogynistic comments.

The hate filled circle jerk of the regular posters here (finomenal, wv, hayden, shouright, etc... too many to list them all ) is pathetic.

I think the bigger issue to which Hayden is alluding is that Philbin hired people with no experience in positions where we're are failing miserably. That's Philbin's fail first, and Ireland's fail second because ultimately he has the last word on personnel decisions.

If it brings them joy then we have to let them post on. We are 3-4 and a big game tonight and we have replaced Philbin with Gruden (OMG) and fired Aponte and Ireland midway through the season.

Jeez.

I'm sorry good sir but that sounds like a derogatory and homophobic remark, which I believe violates the TOS.

I prefer that discourse than the circle jerk of homerism this place would be without it. If you can't handle those threads, stick to the ones titled "I Love Clabo" or something to that effect.

Dude, you just let loose a lot of whining and complaining about threads you don't like and you finished it with an all caps "drama queens" accusation. Are you familiar with irony?

I can objectively criticize the team that I root for without being hateful and nasty. I am not a blind homer, I can recognize the flaws of the team without over reacting and calling for everyone to get fired mid season. On the day of a big game none the less.

I guess you could take all caps as being dramatic, not what I was going for though, just making sure that the ones in question see that not everyone here eats their nonsense up and that they are acting like kids calling for peoples jobs. And criticizing Philbin for "taking advice from a woman". I mean seriously...
 
Joe never called plays in Green Bay and that really bothered me from the start.

I love how I am so associated with Jeff Fisher. I should be more associated with Brian Billick and Mike McCoy. Oh well.

To keep defending Fisher, he was a coach for YEARS in the NFL...so IMO he was very qualified.

There's no requirement to believe or "eat" anything anyone says. We're all simply expressing our opinions. If you disagree with someone, address the points they're making. Make your argument. Your post didn't counter anyone's argument. You only attacked the people making the argument, thus the negative reaction.

And for what it's worth, what goes on here has zero effect on the outcome of any game, big or otherwise.

taking football advice from a woman who knows this game no better than shouright is yeah not want i want to hear my head coach is doing...furthermore if all philbin is doing is being a puppet to the media by regurgitating what aponte is telling him vs having a damn back bone yeah i got a problem with it...

I think the Parcells way just doesn't mesh well with todays football. I felt Ireland did a good job getting away from the Parcells way, maybe not completely but enough in terms of drafting. Why does Aponte have any say or anything over Philbin. The Parcells way needed flushed out entirely but it didn't happen.
