Salguero: Ross will add franchise QB and superstar coach in 2012

dismantling what? We are the worst team in the league. We have no good players. The team SUCKS!

"i hate you mommy i hate you!! we never win games never! everything sucks! " wahh wahh

cut me a break. look at san fran or even detroit. we have good players. they aren't being motivated or utilized properly.

it KILLS me that most of you people want a "big name" what the hell have "big names" done for us???? schwartz was a BIG NAME super bowl winner previously? mccarthy was? was harbaugh????? how about tomlin? was cowher? Bellicheck?

jimmy johnson was, bill parcels was.

screw these "football czars" get me a bright young businessman for a GM and a well-groomed hungry young head coach - then let them go out and get their quarter back and let them build something.

What's new, if this is accurate, is that Ireland is expendable which wasn't previously thought to be the case. Any potential HC who had a problem with inheriting him now knows Ross is willing to budge on that point. It opens up the search to more candidates.

Cowher in teal and orange sounds ****ing perfect.

safe to assume Miami is picking 1st or 2nd in the draft. So safe to assume Luck or Landry Jones will be in Miami. That's how ya get one son!

1. We are far from being able to assume we'll be the 1st or second pick. I feel good about our chances to play a close game tomorrow, and we may end up accidentally winning. If we win tomorrow, there are a lot of games left.

2. There are no certainties in the draft, not even super prospect QB's. Even top 5 QB's have an astoundingly high chance of busting, I need not recount them here.

Ross can say "Miami will do it's best to bring a franchise QB prospect here", and that would be the truth. And it would certainly make me happy that we actually even tried, for the first time in years.

That's cool, our owner said we'll get a franchise QB so we're magically gonna get one from somewhere. These things happen at will, you know.

Take it easy on him, he's accustomed to buying whatever he wants when he wants it. :)

Maybe he sees the franchise for which he spent all that money, on the verge of falling off the cliff. He knows now that he MUST give the fans what they want if the Dolphins are to survive in South Florida and now he is desperate. Dolphin fans should be proud that they were able to send a message to this regime in 2011. The message is; Don't shove garbage in front of us and expect us to keep accepting it, those days are over. There is no way the Dolphins will sell out any games next season unless they get a good Head Coach AND a Franchise QB. Not one or the other, BOTH.

I want the Dolphins to get Luck but man the Colts are tanking on purpose.

THANK GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear, if we get Andrew Luck, my *** will once again be in Sun Life Stadium on opening day 2012.

I loved how he started the article
IN MY OPINION...

[h=2]IN MY OPINION[/h][h=1]Miami Dolphins’ Stephen Ross wants franchise QB, superstar coach to cure team’s ills[/h]

This is the best ray of sunlight this year! IF it's true of course. Hey, can you imagine how this will go over with JI and TS? I'd love to hear that conversation. "So Stephen, there was this article that came out and, well, is it true?" Haha!

Well, I'm not digging at Ross, more every man that's been involved with decision-making in this franchise since (or really before) Dan Marino was done.

Why would a source with such a comprehensive understanding of Ross' thought process talk to Mando? C'mon. It sounds good and I'd like it to be true. But it's not coming from Ross' mouth. It's coming from Mando's diseased brain and whatever sketchy real or imagined sources can tolerate talking to him.

"I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!"
