Sapp content but check out last sentence...

Why..Dude's got millions.

I'd hate to think it's a race thing. I don't think he envisions a Carson Palmer standing at a Wallmart entrance.

carroll shouldnt even be on this team righ now!

Carroll's the back-up boundry corner, like it or not. Apparently they want Allen playing the slot. Hence Sapp getting cut.. Personally I'd have Jimmy Wilson get cut; I don't think he'll be contributing much this year aside from special teams.

Yep and yet many of them end up broke! Whatever Sapp has made you can reduce it by a minimum of 60% from taxes, agent commission, attorney and cpa fees. Couple bad investments and he is off to Walmart.

That 99-yard play was all on Mike Nolan. Calling a blitz and leaving Sapp on Welker man-to-man was a desperation move when it was still a one-score game with plenty of time left. Brady will take that matchup 11 out of 10 times. Might as well have left Welker wide open. Then I can't believe they went and cut Sapp. That shows no class and no accountability on the part of the coaches. Luckily I think Will Allen is the better man for the job, but damn, I hope they don't lose the locker room for that move.

I think he's doing alright.

Vontae and Sean didn't get beat for 99 yards.
Correct, but they got beat for over 400 average yards gained from passing. Was the same last year. Said it before and will say it again. our pass defense, no matter where they were ranked, is pretty pissss pooor. Sure Brady is good but so are a lot of other QBs we are going to face during the season. No one can say this game the offense put the defense in bad position either.

sean smith is highly overrated and I dont understand what he has done to give him this status of an "elite" cornerback, his 6"3 frame is a problem and his ability to rotate his hips quick enough with that height is an issue, he was benched his rookie year and last year for jason allen, he played good in 5-6 game stretch last year at the end of the season and batted a few balls down and got his first pick, besides that he is always trailing his WR and he cant even cover TE's, he should have been moved to FS by now!

He started all 16 games his rookie season. One pass was completed on him on monday.. Stop it

Unless you know the guy personally and know his financial status, you're just making wild stereotypical accusations against him.

I personally know one of the other "dreadlock" players on the phins, and he's very responsible with his money, but I bet you'd think the same about him unless you actually knew him.

How was it the same last year? We gave up 57.4 completion percentage, 6th best in the league. We were 8th in yards and 9th in TD's. Piss poor, ok.

As for Vontae and Smith, they gave up 114 yards combined, and at least 80 of those were on 2 plays, the bomb to Slater which was as much Reshad Jones fault as any, and the deep pass to Hernandez on a one legged Smith. Carroll and Sapp gave up 272 yards between them. Jones gave up big plays. Our supposed great pass rush was non existent, and our LB's who are supposed to be great in coverage were nowhere to be found.

It sucks a lot that Sapp took the fall for Jones and Carroll. Sapp wasn't some superstar, but he was serviceable and we stood a better chance with him than we do with Carroll. Cutting Carroll for Will Allen would've been the thing to do, IMO. Let Sapp and Allen rotate at nickel and Allen could've come in relief for Davis and Smith. We wouldn't have won Monday night with Allen, but I would imagine we'd have been a lot better off.

Have to agree with that^. It was obvious that Carroll was our worst player out there, and the 99yd play Sapp got beat on Jones was supposed to cover over the top and took the worst angle in the history of pro football.

Sapp also was the reason we got that INT on Brady where he blew up the screen. Did he play well? No, but he did not deserve to be cut more than Carroll.

They also put 21 yards and a TD on Smith on the Hernandez TD (the first one) with Sapp trailing in man coverage and Smith playing over the top in a zone. Fact of the matter is that Smith was lights out.
