Say goodbye to Jim Turner...

I'm only up to page 6... but I cant believe we're talking about professional, full grown men... It sounds like something a 13 year old would complain about..

You might be amazed at what grown men will bicker about. I read Union v. Management complaints frequently, both are a bunch of frickin' children.

Miami actually continues to look shady and conniving by how they handled this. They knew this was coming and kept Turner just so they could publicly bury him now. Man, that's COLD!

Everything they have done points to the exact opposite of what you said. Miami has handled this whole situation excellently, which is a big reason why the team will not be fined cash/draft picks. Can the Fins do anything write at all for some of you guys? Sheesh.

Dolphins source just texted me what everyone is assuming: "Not done yet but Turner cannot survive this."

So peebrain tweets the obvious and says "Dolphins source".:chuckle:

He sounds like a couple of posters here with those secret sources while stating the obvious.

Turner should have been shown the door just based on how bad the O-line played, forget about this nonsense.

I thought he looked a little in over his head on Hard Knocks to be honest.

When I look at other O-LIne coaches in the NFL I don't see Turner

EVERYONE has to remember, turner was NOT the guy that philbin wanted, not at all. but, it was crunch time and a body had to put in.

the guy we just hired as "assistant" IS the guy he wanted but he was not able to join the finz at the time.

philbin NOW has the o-line coach he wanted. [if turner is actually fired]

Interesting...do you have a source or can you elaborate? Not trying to question you...this is just the first I ever heard of this.

Between now and the draft, I would expect Dennis Hickey to test the trade value of Mike Pouncey. Yes, he has shown signs of being a Grade-A knucklehead with his ties to the Aaron Hernandez investigation and the Jonathan Martin situation, but he's also a Pro Bowl player. If the Dolphins can get a second- or third-round pick for him, I wouldn't be surprised to see them move him. If they can't, Pouncey plays out the last year of his rookie deal and the team figures out the center position in 2015.

Trade for Alex Mack. Swap players plus a pick to sweeten the deal.

He shouldn't survive how bad the line played this year! The report exposing how he ran his meetings just explains why the line was that bad.

I am so sick of hearing this about Pouncey! Aaron Hernandez does not play or ever played with the miami dolphins ever! If you want to get rid of him based on the connection with Hernandez than I guess the Patriots should cut Brady too? The guy was his friend and he made a stupid mistake with the hat but let it go and stop harping on it as a reason you want to cut someone. And before you say it is not just Hernandez and it is the drugs allegations, where has been Pouncey been convicted of ANYTHING? stop having such a knee jerk reaction to everything.

Where there is smoke...there is fire

I've read the first 47 pages so far. You can say goodbye to Jim Turner, and I'm thinking Kevin O'Neil (head trainer) could be fired as well. I'm just wondering if anything will happen with Pouncey.

Good. After reading the report, both of them deserve to be fired.

He's like the guy that you can never prove did anything but he's always in the background of the picture. Something is definitely amiss there.

Where there is smoke there is fire? Or, to paraphrase Groucho Marx, "Pouncey may look like an idiot. Pouncey may act like an idiot. But, don't let that fool you he really is an idiot."

You might be amazed at what grown men will bicker about. I read Union v. Management complaints frequently, both are a bunch of frickin' children.

Its been said that we never really leave Jr High? From what I've read of the report that assessment seems spot on.

So I see stuff has hit the fan. Tomorrow I'd like to read the report, but from what I've read on twitter tonight it looks like there's quite a lot in there, and it doesn't look good for coaches or players. Turner.....I've been saying for a long time, even when I gave Incognito the benefit of a doubt, that it didn't make sense to me that he wouldn't have known about what went on, or that he couldn't have done something about it. He's garbage. He's the garbage Philbin hired, no NFL experience at all. I mean, how do you participate in all that? This isn't college, for christs sakes, and you don't harass people when it's your job to stop the distractions and get them focused on winning.

Not just Turner, but all of them, your O line is literally melting down...we were all wondering in fact how it could be that bad and what the hell was going on, and inside, THAT was going on. How does every coach not go to Philbin and say what the hell is going on with the offensive line? Gee, maybe you should LOOK INTO IT.

Was this guy a Philbin hire? What a clown, I bet our OL would have been much better with any other coach in the league....Philbins decision making regarding coaches is starting to worry me, this guy doesn't know his job to well

Martin keeps quiet because of the team's "no snitching" culture

Sometimes, a fine would be levied on a lineman who was branded a "Judas," meaning a traitor or "snitch." For example, if Coach Turner, while watching game film footage, criticized a lineman for missing an assignment, and that lineman pointed out that one of his teammates was actually at fault, that lineman might be labeled a "Judas," which could result in a fellow player imposing a fine. Multiple Dolphins offensive linemen were familiar with the "Judas" concept and told us that Coach Turner had discussed it with them. Turner, however, denied knowing what the term "Judas" meant in the context of the Dolphins offensive line. In fact, he denied ever hearing the term "Judas" or "Judas fine" used in the offensive line room. He also denied lecturing players on its meaning. We do not credit Turner's denials. The evidence shows that Turner was aware of the "Judas" concept and that he had discussed its meaning with the linemen, explaining how Judas had betrayed Jesus Christ and defining Judas as a "snitch." Further, Chris Mosley, the Dolphins former assistant offensive line coach, claimed that Turner actually introduced the Judas concept to the offensive linemen.

We accept that the fear of being labeled a "snitch" or a "Judas" played a role in Martin's decision not to report abuse from his teammates. Martin believed that going to his coaches or other authority figures meant risking ostracism or even retaliation from his fellow linemen.
