Turner is Mike Shermans' relative so no way Philbin will want to fire him. Philbin is too stubborn and I guess he just wants to go down with the sinking ship.

Or maybe Stephen Ross in his naivete thinks by laying low, this thing will blow over. This is not going away and every time the Miami Dolphins is mention in the media, the Ted Wells report will come up until Ross or the NFL does something.
