Scheffter on Mike and Mike

i'm sure the player is a guy that can't play worth a crap

Wait, so because you are a lower tier player, its ok to be treated like crap?? Because you aren't physically as talented?? Really, did you expect the higher level players to be the ones that are being intimidated? Give me a break!

So does this mean when my boss tells me something I don't want to do or don't agree with I can claim "Bullying"?

You can if he beats you up outside your workplace, which is whats being claimed by his lawyer. Now, whether that's true or not, well have to wait and see.

The NFL is a mess...if redact the names so people are "honest" how does the accused get to rebuttal what someone says? If they do not redact the names, some people might not want to come fwd.

This is a mess. Names IMO should not be redacted. Put your name to it if it means so much to you.

I'm guessing Egnew is the other player, if I had a bet.

Regardless, this is gonna get REALLY interesting. At the very minimum we can thank Martin for getting rid of Ireland

They will get the Martin treatment and ridiculed, that's why they wont come out. Martins intentions are still very much in question, and im really waiting to see what he has to say to judge his situation. He can either be an opportunistic cry baby lying to keep his paycheck, or he can be the actual victim of a situation he did not know how to control, but to follow the leader. In the end, hes probably BOTH.

How can they justify cutting Ireland loose and keeping Philbin.

FOR ONCE, can we select a GM and allow him to pick a coach that meshes with each other's philosophy and vision?

And, what GM worth his salt would agree to be saddled with someone else's guy?

Maybe I'm crazy but cleaning house is a good thing. Ireland has been given many chances to prove himself and continues to fail. Philbin seems like a nice guy, but that means nothing in the NFL. Winning is what matters. This scandal in a twisted way is going to do the fans a favor because there is a good chance we get to start over.

Normally starting over sucks cause who knows when you can turn it around. But in todays NFL it doesn't have to be years IF the right people are put in place. Problem is, can Ross find those people? I question whether he is capable of getting this right.

Of course not. That would actually make sense and could end up resulting in long-term, sustained success for the Miami Dolphins. And we all know that's not allowed. Dumbo will speak with his so-called 'advisors', and then we'll have a press conference at the end of the season with Ross telling us what a great man Joe Philbin is, and how much respect he has for Philbin, and how he's such a great leader and blah blah blah. And then he'll fire Philbin midway through next season when we're 1-8 and the team has quit on him.
