This is true.. THe team definitely has quit on him. He has made so many bad decisions that I see no way how he keeps his job. From not overruling Sherman to allowing these locker room antics, to reading off his stupid little index cards and not speaking from the heart, its just been bad decision after bad decision.

I called this one weeks ago... that drill sergeant shtick is endearing on TV but the position coach is judged by results and they're sorely lacking and no doubt by the climate of a tough inflexible vibe he's fomented in the squad's meetings and scrimmages. Just another example of Sherman hiring NFL untested position coaches either because of nepotism or college familiarity. Still incredulous that our very valuable QB asset was entrusted to a son in law who barely coached the position even in college, if at all, and whose main claim to fame was 2 years as Nebraska's QB.

We all want to live in some TV and movie fantasy, I agree. They want Turner to be some surreal and respected character from Full Metal Jacket, but look how great that turned out! Or they want Philbin to give Any Given Sunday sermons every week, but that is a bunch of BS. I worked on Any Given Sunday production from beginning to end, Al Pacino would make Joe Philbin look charismatic, That's how shy the man is in real person. Leadership and charisma are NOT mutually exclusive. I think Ray Lewis is a complete phony, but he gets called a leader because hes the loudest person in the room! I promise if Lewis wasn't as talented as he was, his mouth wouldn't have been as loud either.

Turner has done nothing that any other coach has done. Look up stories of Alex Gibbs.

Well, we don't really know that yet, do we? We have no idea what Martin or any other players have said about Turner to the NFL investigator.

The offensive line talent has obviously been a major problem, but don't overlook that there are tremendous scheming problems too. Lots of sacks caused by rushers who aren't picked up or barely picked up. The coaching has not been good to say the least.
