Schein: Ross is clueless and Miami has the worst quarterback corps in the league

Pretty sure they had the same QB. Just sayin'.

ELITE!

the same elite QB who threw 4 INts w/ the season on the line in week 16 of 2010.

They had 4 players start in both 2007 & 2011 on offense and 2 on defense. They were almost completely different teams(which helps the Eli elite argument though he wasn't very good in the '07 reg season and the D was dominant in both SB runs)

Uh huh. Let's forget his going 23-39 for 289 yds 4 TDs and 1 INT vs. Philly in Week 15. Not the dude's fault the defense and ST couldn't hold.

4 INTs in a game shouldn't happen but let's not act like they lost that game 100% b/c of him. GB had TD drives from their own 20, 21, and 30 yd lines.

Well who the **** is elite? If you can just point to one big game they had a tough time in to eliminate them from being elite, you dont have any elite QBs.

I don't know what the win % would be in games where a teams QB throws 4 INTs but I'd imagine it would be REALLY low.

the D/Sts get the bulk of the blame but Eli had a chance to take time off the clock. he doesn't go blameless for that meltdown. Even after philly tied it the Giant had good FP(NYG 36) w/ over a min to play and 3 TOs.

The GB game was 24-17 in the 3rd, NYG offensive possessions after that point:

Eli fumble
3 and out
Eli INT
Eli INT
Eli INT

If that doesn't say elite I don't know what does.

The true elite QBs are the ones that are great EVERY season or maybe have a down season every 6 or 7 years. Eli hasn't had a great season in this league yet, he had a great postseason last year but this was a year removed from throwing 25 INts and missing 2 straight postseasons.

He can still be elite, he needs to lead his team to more than 9 wins and play great throughout multiple seasons coming up

Tom Brady week 3 tossed 4 INT's in a loss to division rival bills.. By your logic he is not elite.

Eli hasn't had a great season in this league yet

See, this is my tip that its not even worth trying to have this discussion. You cant post drivel like this and expect me or anyone else to take you seriously.

You are going to compare week 3 to week 16? the week 16 game was basically a playoff game, the winner just needed to win the next week to get in and in that game he throws 4 INTs. 4 of TWENTY FIVE for the season, Brady threw 8 total the other 15 games this past season and led his team to another SB.

Which season was great? he's thrown for 30 or more TDs once(and did so while throwing 25 INTs), he's thrown DD INTs in all but one season(his rookie year where he only played in 9 games and threw 9 INTs), he's led his team to more than 10 ins just 2 times, he's thrown 15 or more INTs in 5 seasons, while he has 2 SB wins he hasn't won a playoff game in any other season. Please tell me which seasons have been great?

Yet we're to believe that a team that was 7-7, having recently lost 6 out of 7 (and beating teams with barely a .300 cumulative winning %), including then losing at home in a critical game to a dead team walking in a game they actually needed to win to stay alive.. before being gifted into the playoffs facing 2 teams which considered those games totally meaningless other than keeping their starters healthy, is the first leg of an "elite" 3 year stretch - the last one being 8-8??

Eli made and won 2 SBs because he and the Giants earned them without charity; ditto the MVP. Gimme a ****in break with these shifting goalposts.

I know 7-7, blah, blah blah:rolleyes2:

 This is great. Junc is clearly in the minority, not just across the board, but I'm sure throughout NFL fans in general, in sayin Eli isn't an elite QB. You can spin it all you want, but a QB who's closing in on 30K yards, 200 passing TDs, and a 60% completion rate for his career is pretty damn impressive. When all is said and done Eli WILL be a Hall of Famer. Hell, they let Namath in...and Eli's already closing in or passed most of his numbers at 31 years old! The two Super Bowl rings aren't too shabby either.

I never mind being in the minority, it usually means I'm right.

he doesn't have a single elite season on his resume, the closest is probably 2008 but in this era would you consider a 21 & 10 season great or elite?

his first 4 seasons he was under 60%, his last 4 slightly over

closing in on 200 TDs and he'll have close to 150 INts by the time he gets there

Namath is in b/c of everything that SB III meant to the game, Eli didn't play in a game w/ that historical significance though 2 SB MVPs will help. he just needs to actually put together some Hall worthy seasons- maybe 4-5-6? and he can make it w/ the head start q/ 2 SB MVPs but look at his TDs to INTs compared w/ actual elite QBs:

Eli: 185 to 129
Brady: 300 to 115. 115 more TDs w/ 14 less INTs
peyton: 399 to 198
Brees: 281 to 146. only 16 more INTs w/96 more TDs
Rodgers: 132 to 38. Eli has 41 INts the last 2 seasons alone

The only guy he is somewhat close to is ben who has 165 and 100 but ben is 80-33 as a starter, Eli 69-50

It's okay, his Super Bowls MVPs are worthless. It's the 9+ regular season wins he needs to be elite.

It's such a ****ing joke with you

I never mind being in the minority, it usually means I'm right.

I'm not a shrink but if I was I'm sure there's got to be a name for someone who blames everyone else but himself or he's right while no one else is.

What could it be?

Off the top of my head, the following teams have worse QB situations than the Dolphins:

Jaguars
Cardinals
Jets
Browns
Titans
Chiefs
Vikings
49ers
Seahawks
Rams

Is this Schein guy a Jets fan? Sounds like a New Yorka.

Also, he makes it seem like agreeing to Hard Knocks will destroy the season. How so? Not ready for prime time? Since when is Hard Knocks about "prime time" teams? Most of the time they have had teams coming off of losing seasons, like the Bengals.

"Shame on you"

What a tool.
You can't be serious:rolleyes2:
