In my opinion as an average joe shmoe fan:

Offense-
I think the offense is just looking too predictable. I sat there w/ my friends and we called several straight plays before they happened. Qb wasn't spreading the ball around enough, missed some open targets, looked rusty. We relied on Marshall too much. Granted, perhaps it was a vanilla scheme since his knowledge of the offense will be less than henne's.

No creative playcalling to create mismatch problems. Much too conservative. I think the only curve ball play was when they threw a screen pass to Fasano lol. Very conservative stuff with coaching jobs on the line.

Defensive-
No pass rush. With all that supposed talent, the d-line just can't cut it. I'm also starting to question the player leadership. On the play were Dansby leaked out to cover the RB (where Sanchez ran up the middle), a line call should/could have been made to have the dline pinch the center. From the replay it looks like they were left to stunt.

No exotic blitzes to compensate for lack of rush either. Nothing opposite of Wake's side for sure.

I can't tell if they lack the drive in the second half / giving up, or if they just lack the talent.

Whats your 2 cents? Is ther also anyone w/ some coaching / football experience can tell us fans what the team is doing wrong from a schematic play calling standpoint?

Didn't score TDs in the red zone. That plus Moore is as good a QB as I am at playing the piano with my dick

We didn't score in the red zone again.... for the 3rd year in a row.

lmao. I'm not real sure why they talked him up so much either. With Henne we might've had a close game. And they kept talking about Moore's arm strength... Henne can probably throw with more velocity and three times as far as moore

On offense... let me paint a picture of what's wrong.

1.We have 2 big RBs in Lex Hilliard and Daniel Thomas and we run sweeps with them and throw them screens. We have a scat back in Reggie Bush we continue to run up the middle like he's a power back.

2.We have one of the best slot WRs in Davone Bess and we don't throw to him.

3.We don't even attempt to run in the red zone.

4.We STILL don't use Marshall the right way. Yeah he's had a lot of drops, but in Denver they threw a lot of short to medium routes that got the ball in his hands quickly. Do we do that? No.

5.We don't use the middle of the field

On Defense? Well tonight we had Cam Wake covering Santonio Holmes.

Otherwise, we can't cover TEs, we don't have anybody who can pass rush right now, we can't force turnovers, and we don't blitz

Great points man. Wow the team's a total mess ::facepalms::

There was a lot tonight but the red zone is the first for me. It could have been 21 to 0 quickly if only they could score.

BM was covered by one of the best DBs in the game, yet Moore tried him all night. What did they think would happen? Didn't the coaches tell Moore the Dolphins have other WRs?

Way too many drops!

Why the hell did they just give up at the end of the 1st half?!?!?!

Reggie Bush CANNOT run up the middle. Why the hell do they continue trying??

I think the biggest problem (among many other problems) is the offense in the red zone. I'm not a big fan of the coaching staff either, but the players have to make plays and no one did that today. Positive thinking; Miami easily couldve been up 17-0 or 10-0 at the least at the start of the game.

Run, run, pass to Marshall, field goal is getting ridiculous, I think the wildcat formation would be more efficient (maybe)

Again though the players have to make plays, the first pick was pass interference, Marshall dropping the TD or Moore throwing behind him, and Marshall running out of bounds.

Shouldve, wouldve, couldve.......
