Schulters to start?

sounds like saban felt uneasy for a three year player starting that never started. bell could do nothing to change sabans mind. it seems it what saban had planned all along. kind of makes the pre-season a wash for bell, doesn't it? that will change soon, wait and watch.

Unfortunately I felt this way with a few positions.

I don't think it mattered what certain people did, they were not changing or moving in the depth chart.

Now I am not saying that one is better then the other because Schulters is very good. I am just saying that Schulters has done nothing tomy knowledge to win the starting job.

I wanted Bell to start, but Schulters is cool too. Either way, IMO, we have a talented Safety in either.

U never know, we might find out that Bell is hurt again or something

That's interesting... I wonder if Schulters stepped it up this past week and played lights out in practice... strange to change it at the last minute though. :confused:

For a veteran who has started in this league Schulters have'nt impressed me in the preseason games. Hopefully he's a gametime player!

Its simply another "Lets play it safe move by Saban?"

Like I said previously, there is something in the Miami HC job description that says once you are hired then your backbone must be removed.

Very interesting... I've been wanting Lance Schulters to crack the starting lineup, I've wanted him to earn the starting job. This is really good news, let's hope it results in a very good way.

I think the job was Schulters all along...they let Bell get as much experience as they could...Lance was learning the system..he's really a better safety than Bell. Bell gives us some depth at the very least..
