also loses 2 2nd round picks.. Brees is already totally pizzed off. wonder how we can make this happen.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has been suspended for one year and the Saints will lose their second round pick in 2012 and '13 and pay $500,000 as a result of the NFL's bounty investigation, the league announced Wednesday.
Former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who orchestrated the program, has been suspended indefinitely. Team general manager Mickey Loomis also faces an eight-game suspension and a $500,000 fine.

Rams D coordinator Gregg Williams suspended indefinitely. Good thing we didn't get Fisher.

With the stiff punishment given to the Saints, do you guys thinks Brees would consider leaving ? Can Miami get him, does it take a first rounder if they match what the Saints are paying him? I would be down with that for sure!
 
I doubt it. Brees is the only positive "thing" that exists right now for the Saints. If they ship him off that franchise will implode and the fan base will go insanse. I just dont see them letting him go. Also, While I would LOVE to get Brees, at his age, giving up 2 1st round picks is too much.

Just curious. can the Saints still trade up or down (or players) for another teams 2 round picks?
 
Meh, The Saints cant trade him until he signs..and he aint signing..

Brees was franchised with the "exlusive" tag, and even if he had the "non-exclusive" tag, it would cost us a mandatory two 1st round picks.
