If Irvin had kick return ability bring him in, let him groom for a pas catch rb/slot wr, but he isnt a route man to do it. Work one of those 2 wr into your 4 or 5 spot and give him return reps.
If you are not in playoff race strong by week 13 they will try and bring irvin in, limit Ricky reps and work out a consencus #2 and #3 rb...
Then probably try and trade and a three to get in round 2 next season...probably for Edwards or the biggest cap hit you have on team at backup rb.
All of east teams have tough schedule tough and you should be within 2 games of first place if not there outright so Irvin may have to wait his chance next year outright unless someone gets hurt.
Would be nice to see Irvin get good preseason snaps and chance to break the roster though. NFL Europe is smaller speed league and less of a size basis place, it is harder to guage nonskills there. Goiod place to get skill specialty players to hone their game... special teamers or limited rep play specialists.
