Serious question for the anti-Tannehill crowd

BTW, they brought in a new GM and new OC. Perfect time to change the QB if that is the problem. First round draft pick contracts are no longer the huge burden that they used to be. It would easy to move on if they wanted to, but it is obvious to any unbiased observer that Tannehill has not been put in a position to realize his full potential yet. And, he actually did remarkably well under the circumstances. Almost, every article talking about Tannehill's potential flatly states that the OL was terrible and he needs to be protected better. I shake my head every time I read one of the haters' comments disregarding reality in an effort to prop up the fantasy that they have created.

"Fans"? Definitely not.

Stop making sense....this is the short attention span...knee jerk reaction era.....and your just not conforming.

A young QB should be able to lead his team into the playoffs regardless of the documented, matter of statistical record weaknesses of his surrounding cast.

We're getting a little tired of your logic and reason around here.

I completely disagree. Inexperience didnt hinder him from relative rookie success playing with guys like Legadu Naanee. His "inexperience" didnt hinder him, the crappy OL play and Sherman downgraded his developement. Clearly Lazor is getting him on track with fundamentals of release and decision making based on the use of a full deck of cards. That said, he has no more excuses, but so far, its looking real good.

One caveat....if his O-line and overall pass protect is good the excuses are over.

But really....what have we excused?....a young QB with limited college QB experience who progressed in year 2 despite obvious supporting cast flaws?

I am not Anti Tannehill, I am Pro Miami Dolphin Football. I travel to games, I support the team. I am tired of the losing. I can't put that on Tannehill man, he has only been around the last two seasons. If we would have won one of the last two games he started, I would be more like you guys, and all over his junk, I'm not. We should have beat the Jets at Home, 7 points at Home with the Playoffs on the Line, and you get outplayed by Geno Smith? If the Dolphins led by Tannehill make it to the Playoffs this year, I will believe more. But right now, it's the same old deal man.
