Who says we need to be better to beat you?....We were all banged the hell up without our primary runstopper Tim Bowens and Our RB was in INDIA burning Blunts!
you do need to be better, cause even finishing with the fourth ranked d and fifth o, we have gotten a hell of alot better on d, and our o had another year to gel, and lelie will be spectacular this year. he had a better year thatn any of your recievers last year anyways

and how do you own plummer as a bronco. show me some stats and maybe ill understand

2004----16/30 219 7.3 0TDs 2Ints

The only game we played when he was a Bronco he was pretty bad. Also every other game he has played against us he hasn't done much at all.

PLaying the donkies in September in Dolphins stadium is one of the most favorable games on our schedule. Nothing "homer" about it. Don't get offended or anything. By the way congrats your the 1st person to ever insult me on this board, you should be proud. :D

we do have the toughest schedule in the league they say.

i wish i had the confidence some ppl here have i want miami to win so bad...last year sucked every home game we dorve 3 and 1/2 hours to the game and 3 and 1/2 back and the ride feels so much longer when they lose we got season tickets again this year and i dont wanna watch them lose every home game but 2 like last year it will suck

Look...it's already been illustrated that you had a cakewalk season schedule-wise so you're ratings are bound to be inflated...It has also been illustrated that you aquired and are starting several members of the 31st ranked defense against the run last year. The Dolphins had a terrible year because we lost our franchise RB, had a terrible QB and an injury plaqued season at every position...including the O-Line. We also suffered from having an ultra conservative Head Coach with his head in his as#....We don't need to get that much better to beat a team that we lost by 3 points to, amid all of these obstacles and diversities. Although we have improved in many respects and we're healthy...The biggest and only drop off is the loss of Surtain and the injury to Will Poole...But we have a HIGHLY motivated Head Coach and the best Coaching staff in Football...Who knows what will happen this week...but I wouldn't be too confident coming into MIAMI for this home opener.

I don't think the Fish should take this game to seriously. When you rebuild it's more about building for next year, looking at new guys, getting the rookies in there...etc. Jimmy Johnson went 1-15 his first year and had the Crackboys in the Superbowl two years later. If Saban's smart he's already eyeing a QB in next years draft.

ok, ronnie brown is going to have 150 yards in his opener. Gus will be good for 100 yards passing. it will be a good one, but the fins will take it in the 4th. Denver will have a hard time putting points up on this def. in the end it will be fins 17 - denver 7.

I mean we straight own them. The have never won in Miami, we flat own Plummer and even Broncos fans are questioning whether Shanahan is done or not. I'll take Saban, at home, opening day, over Jake the Fake anytime.

Remember they BARELY beat us at their house last year, and we are much improved, just by having Saban we are a better team than last year.

seriously?

you dont believe that for a second.
have you seen shanahans record in openers?
have you "owned" jake plummer as a BRONCO?
have you looked at our team this year as opposed to last?

your team came to mile high last year and played a heck of a game.
played with alot of heart.
that said, our guys took the night off and still won.

now before you go nuts on me, i will admit that your defense is quite good, and our record in florida is not.
still, this is the opener.
i have no doubt saban will make your team better.....but he wont
do it in the first week.
while he's been busy installing HIS system, shanahan has spent MONTHS preparing for this game.

we'll win, and we'll win by at least 10.

jake

ps- im not much for "smack" talk, so let me add that i wish you luck the rest of the season. as far as im concerned this is your home and im just visiting, so ill keep it all above board. may the best team win.

no way you keep our o to seven points. we have a top 3 line in the league that will open holes for Mike anderson. madison will do well against rod, but no way does your left cb contain ashley lelie who now not only runs deep but across the middle. i say we put up 24 and we hold you to ten maybe thirteen

They're giving it all the consideration it needs. Saban is a fanatic about preparation and focus.

Then again, it's just Denver. Hopefully, they won't get caught up in looking ahead to the Jets.

I dont care who or what went down last year............this is a brand new year. New coach with the right attitude and we have talent. All that really needs to happen for us to win is get to Plummer, which i believe is a 60/40 prop in our favor and our offense needs to score 24 points, which is about a 30/70 prop not in our favor. But it will be close make no mistake about it.

Just think about this........we got beat by what 3 or 4 points last year in denver w/ the crappy *** team that we had last year? Are you kidding me? There are two teams who are extremeley overrated right now and that is Baltimore and Denver.

Shanahan has no idea what Nick Saben is going to throw at him. No idea because the D is based on whatever that teams weakness is and they go after it. Then it changes the next week for the next opponent. JT and co. are fired up you can bet your bottom dollor on that.

Saban has been studying Denver and the Jets for weeks now people. Count on it. He knows what they do and when they are going to do it ( for the most part). I see Plummer doing playaction after they get the running game going, which is exactly what we will look to stop first. Then we set them up for failure....thats how it works. Thats how NE does it.
