I'd have to say today was where my opinion of philbin soured as well...that's just inexcusable. I can't think of another coach in this league that would do that. Maybe if a team had no timeouts left and didn't wanna risk it but we're talking 2 minutes and 10 seconds left, that's technically 4 timeouts for us.

I will not say it was the worst coaching decision I have ever seen, because I have seen worse.

But it was probably the most gutless I have ever seen.

He wasn't ready to be Head Coach. He let Sherman pick his QB. That's fine if the QB is "the guy", but he was a reach with potential. To me, in management, it is like saying I don't have a mind of my own so I'll go with what my former boss thinks. If either of these guys failing this year I will certainly reflect on that. It always seemed weird to me.

Me too. Because he had a big hand in selecting, and going all in on Tannehill...

I can't stand Philbin. Never been a fan. Never wanted him as HC. Doesn't come across like HC material to me.
