Shanahan in Miami 2014?

puff puff pass dude.no way to Shanahan in Miami 2014 or any other year
 
While Shanny is not my favorite coach, he did have a lot of success here in Colorado with the Broncos. I would take him over Billick and Gruden. But I think there are some other coaches who would be a better fit. I just doubt Philbin gets the boot after this season. I think Ireland is the one who may be packing his bags.
 
I don't really think Shanahan can relate to today's players. Yes he has a creative Offensive mind ( but I thought Philbin did too ????) but the success he had was with a different generation of football player. The fact that Junc likes him for us (thanks for nothing) is also alarming. Now Bill Cowher...

Players love Mike Shanahan. He is absolutely not an Eric Mangini type.
 
I think RT would take the next step or two under his watch.

He won 2 Super Bowls, so i wouldn't say he's garbage. However I agree with you. If he is going to bring his son with him, i say no way.
 
Mike Shanahan is like the grumpy old fart that lives down the street who's always yelling at those damn kids to stay off his yard. The only positive this guy brings with him is a running game, for which I would almost vote for him....almost. Otherwise just another stopgap coach that in a couple years we would be begging for someone else.
