Shanahan shot his load with one of the 5 greatest all time QBs.. beyond that, and without him, he's been nothing more than pedestrian. That's 14 ****in' years since he smelled a SB - and at least 2 full shifts in contemporary philosophical paradigms. Yet another coach who was fired like Fisher cuz mediocrity and living off past laurels only have so much credibility capital built up. And keep in mind we'd be getting him after 2 firings, not one! Long of saying "Gawd No!!!"
