Sharpe: "Dolphins' Problems on Offense Can be Laid at Tannehill's Feet"

Shannon is a major homer, I dont respect his opinion at all. but this is sterling sharpe. I have no opinion about him other then I disagree on this issue. tannehill gets rid of the ball quicker then any other qb, his rating is still higher then average dispite him not being able to let plays develop.
Tannehill gets rid of the ball faster than any other QB??? Really?? You don't watch too much football. You really don't watch too much football.

what exactly makes gruden and sharpe "experts"... the fact that espn hired them?

I mean, what criteria does one have to meet, to be coined an expert???

So, I take it thats a big NO GO on the other thread that you have been called out in for 3-4 days straight.

this is backed by data provided by yours truly. please don't insult ones football watching ability if you disagree. so immature

I'll take objective data that converges with the opinions of experts (i.e., Gruden and Sharpe) over the "vision" of a bunch of nobodies on a message board anyday. :)

Hope you're ready to eat that crow. I'll remember you and WV. And after you guys are done making out in your little circle jerk the rest of us here will make you eat it.

No one wants to hear you parrot for morons like Sharpe. Dude is a terrible analyst.

So Thill is blamed with the run game too...? Does he also lead block for the backs...? Jeff Ireland has brought in boobs all over the place -> there is your common denominator

I noticed before the season that Ireland spent less on offense than every other team except for the Raiders, I expected it to be a problem and I made this graph to prove that Ireland ****ed up once again. After having made the graph though its hard to ignore the parallels between QB play and total offense over the years. Its not proof of anything, just last year Phillip Rivers and the Chargers were close to the bottom and they've bounced back, but it is an indicator that probably shouldn't be ignored.

Whoever you are being whoever you are, offering nothing of value to the forum or the topic, offering instead a useless and uninteresting commentary on a nobody who calls himself "shouright" on a message board. :)

Your posts have about as much "value" as a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on.

This is true but he's not far off. The average of all QBs this year with more than 50 attempts is 84.8 and Tannehill is at 83.1. Take out Peyton Manning and the average is 83.7 so Ryan is very, very close to average in QB rating. Not that it's anything to brag about, but he's higher than Brady, Eli, Palmer, Schaub, Flacco, Smith and only a few tenths behind RGIII. Considering his protection and lack of running game that's not too bad.
Well, the point is that what's typically regarded as "his protection" is largely his problem.

Of course we tend to have this habit around here of blaming other players when someone we want to succeed isn't playing as well as we'd like. Chris Chambers needed "a QB," Ted Ginn needed "a QB," Chad Henne needed a "number-one receiver," and now Ryan Tannehill needs "protection." Meanwhile, the best players in the league aren't thought to need anything.

You give the impression that the majority on finheaven is usually right. I've been posting here for a long time and I can honestly say the media pundits we create threads to bash are right far more often then the majority of the posters here. Queue the posters who feel they are always right.

This is off topic, but does anyone know what a troll prefers to dine on?

I've never seen such grandiosity, personally. :)

The common denominator is Ireland always overthinking his hand and over valueing his picks like where do I start...?

A Rodgers was being dinged left right and center in fact he was having concussion issues - he had lots of Receiving threats at the time -> so what did GB do? They drafted B Bulaga to try to shore up an issue. Blaming the QB is just too easy around here. Ireland finally admitted his gaffe by bringing in BM but he still whiffed waiting too long and putting his QB at risk, the guys who say Thill looks "scared" haven't played a contact sport in their life. The guy is clearly in tune with his emotions, and is doing his best, while trying to save his life. If he gets .5 second more time and he has a chance to step up and he will deliver.

Thill makes those around him better not vice versa..., Look at our Backs drivel next to the AFCE, and our TEs/WRs only homers feel we have the best in the division because they don't seperate themselves from the rest of the AFCE pack. Oline we have the worst in the AFCE -> no kidding we need good to great QB play to be in every game each week.

Dline? -> still no depth, when Wake is wonky we have issues, Jordan is nice piece for the future by that time Wake will be on his downturn, LBs well where's the depth, DBs can't stay healthy long enogh to be evaluated as a full unit, but the back ups are looking like fodder every week.

Thank goodness the rest of the AFCE has come down to our level because we are not moving up anytime soon, with this GM. Thill is the best we have had for quite sometime, sadly he will be David Carr because of the stubborness of Ireland.
