Shelby Arrested / Suspended

Ghetto trash? Really?

Public sex w. a whore, using ghetto terminology for what he did to her, feeling up other women in the club w. unwanted attention, and then making himself a police victim by refusing to leave and then refusing to obey police orders.

Maybe you have another word for those kinds of actions. But I prefer the truth.

Yes I have another word for those kinds of actions...stupid.

The truth is the term "ghetto trash" could be considered offensive to a lot of people.

I learned the term from my African-American relatives. They have no problem calling a spade a spade.

Neither do I.

p.s. I'm not trying to be offensive to anyone GE. It's just somewhat offensive to me when someone refuses to call actions what they are for the sake of political correctness. You or I would probably be in jail if we tried in a club what Shelby did.

I don't care who, what or where you learned it from. That term is still considered offensive.

See my p.s. Not trying to offend anyone. Just calling a spade a spade.

And Martin and Chris Rock are offensive too, funny but offensive , but I don't have a baby about it

Lighten up.

Officers were with Shelby when he was taken to a local hospital. From today's document dump:

The attending ER physician made contact with Shelby and asked what his injuries were. Shelby responded with "police brutality." The doctor then examined Shelby's facial injuries, which included a lacerated lip. The physician stated Shelby would need stitches to which Shelby replied "leave that **** I wanna see what that **** is gonna look like later!"
Shelby eventually did get treatment and kept talking, saying out loud, "I need a Z-Pak." (That's slang for a prepackaged five-day course of the antibiotic azithromycin.) The nurse asked him why.

"Listen, I ****ed a hooker at the club and don't want to catch anything. I raw dogged her so I need something to kill that ****."
The report does not say if Shelby got the Z-Pak.

, Really? Oh my world...

Ok, this smells fishy on so many levels, where to begin...

"Z-Pak" is slang now? So only the "hood" calls it Z-Pak? That's strange because I've heard more than one doctor refer to it as Z-Pak and the last time I was prescribed it for a bacterial infection it stated "Z-Pak" on my prescription. http://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-20602-3223/zithromax-z-pak-oral/azithromycin250-500mg-oral/details.

As I mentioned earlier HIPAA restricts doctors and nurses from disclosing what was discussed between themselves and a patient, yet someone who's been in school for 6-8+ years would risk their careers to to give some website a story? Also, you expect me to believe that a figure in the public eye would walk around screaming "Listen, I ****ed a hooker at the club and don't want to catch anything. I raw dogged her so I need something to kill that ****."? I'm supposed to believe that? I know some pretty ghetto people that would be too ashamed to tell even their friends that they did that much less a professional athlete screaming it loud enough for on-lookers to hear it.

I don't buy that this square would be walking around a medical facility screaming this: http://www.miamidolphins.com/multim...k_Shelby/0d40fb38-90fd-4990-ab9d-539db3128fee.

This post is only for those who are looking for objectivity, the rest can have at it

You are right, this sounds like a load of crap to me too. No medical doctor would give this info out, or allow a person working under them to do the same, there would be some repercussions for this. I was a police officer, I know that
police officers do take most every opportunity they can to punish the person they are apprehending. THey are jealous of him being a pro athlete, want to show how tough they are. I believe that SHelby was intentionaly hurt by the officer that cuffed him. Did shelby hurt himself? I doubt it. How can the cop state that shelby didn't resist, and yet his face is busted. I believe Shelby in this case. He has worked hard to get where he is, unless they can show a high blood alcohol reading, or the presence of a drug in his system, this looks like uneceserry force by the arresting officer or officers.

The reason I believe the officers story is because it would too easy to say that he resisted with violence but we shall see

Somehow "ghetto trash" is offensive now as if it refers to one type of person or race? Come on, let's stop being offended so easily in this country these days. Get over it and don't turn it into something it isn't.
