Shelby Arrested / Suspended

Don't think breaking a window will kill a kid in the back seat, or even harm them enough to put them in danger. I would say, as an adult, I'd rather listen to the cops and move away from the children, than to stay in the car and let things heat up.

And no, at the time they broke the window, they weren't in fear of their life. They wanted the man to get out because they had no idea who he was. And since he wasn't complying, I think it's safe to say he had something to hide.

So when glass is broken there is not a great possiblility of it going into back seat where the children are at. they actually could have broke the window a different way.
As an adult I think he was wrong but again my only true issue from the video is the lack of common sense the police used in the way the broke the window.
Supposedly the kids have cuts although not sure if I can believe that or not. If glass did go into the children's eyes which quite possible then a child possibly loses sight because you chose to break the window in that way

One of the couples that sued over being beat by that officer said they did follow instructions, got out of the vehicle and were beat on anyway. An African American actor from The Wire was on Real Time recently and he said he is literally afraid for his life over what should be mundane traffic stops, the police had guns drawn and ordered him to exit the vehicle. Over a traffic stop. With his family in the car. There are no common sense arguments as far as I'm concerned.

Of course they said they followed all instructions. What did you expect them to say? Lol. Not saying they are lying or not, we don't know. Is there video of that incident?

What makes more sense, listen to the cops and have a great chance of nothing happening (if innocent), or not cooperate and know for certain **** will break loose?

That's also another issue, the window shouldn't have only been cracked, should have been rolled all the way down.

actually Im not sure of their protocol some officers allow this. Will tell you soon since will be in Trooper academy soon

The latest details don't make Shelby seem sympathetic, lol:

http://deadspin.com/cops-shelby-asked-for-a-z-pak-after-he-****ed-a-hooke-1644898392

Officers were with Shelby when he was taken to a local hospital. From today's document dump:

The attending ER physician made contact with Shelby and asked what his injuries were. Shelby responded with "police brutality." The doctor then examined Shelby's facial injuries, which included a lacerated lip. The physician stated Shelby would need stitches to which Shelby replied "leave that **** I wanna see what that **** is gonna look like later!"
Shelby eventually did get treatment and kept talking, saying out loud, "I need a Z-Pak." (That's slang for a prepackaged five-day course of the antibiotic azithromycin.) The nurse asked him why.

"Listen, I ****ed a hooker at the club and don't want to catch anything. I raw dogged her so I need something to kill that ****."
The report does not say if Shelby got the Z-Pak.

Whats dumber, "raw dogging" a whore or non-violently resisting an officer? And what kind of whore house gets the police involved in their matters?

Well he said he had sex with a hooker at the club, doesn't mean she worked for the club or maybe he is like many soldiers I know when they go to these clubs they get drunk and think yea she likes me, thennext thing you know they are getting escorted out of the club because they couldn't count their dances and refuse to pay.

Two of the officers have been sued over excessive force before which in itself is not an indictment but one of the cases had an undisclosed settlement. take it for what it is

Anyone who has unprotected sex with a prostitute is pretty damn foolish. It's foolish enough having sex with one even with protection..

Just a sick story the whole way around, with a common denominator of Shelby acting like ghetto trash.

Just when he was starting to be a contributor on the DL with his future getting much brighter, he pulls this. Sells out his team. That extracurricular crap of acting like a pig -- It tore the team down when it was Cogs and it tears the team down when it's Shelby.

Downward spiral. Started.
