Should Fins take a chance on Tebow?

Tebow has a heart for this game, no doubt. But its a horrible sign to see him go from starter to third string in month. In order for Tebow to have success, he needs to be in the right system and have a ton of talent around him, aka like college. Unfortunately, this isn't college. As much as I want to see him be a great QB, it doesn't look promising.... That being said, bring him in. We could use a TE. ;)

Hi. Welcome to the concept of message boards.

(I thought you understood this)

soon to be announced at mile high stadium

"at fb for your denver broncos tim tommy vardell tebow"

Real classy place you guys are running here, god forbid someone shares an idea the little message board gang does not like. I would not be bothered if some of you gave valid points as to why you don't like the guy but ripping the idea or the player is ridiculous.

He's not a good QB at all. His accuracy is terrible, and his game is more suited for the college level. This is not college.

 Looks like somebody's hurt that some of us don't like his idea.

I don't like Tebow. I think he's completely overhyped. I don't for a second think he'll even become a better QB than Henne is now. (which ought to speak volumes)

As far as him being developed at another position ... I feel that's a dumb idea. Why not just develop a player that actually plays that position already & is used to it?

Do those count as valid points? Or would you rather keep crying that we aren't all singing Kumbaya? :idk:

Edit: Back-to-back 9 loss seasons tend to piss people off. That's why lots of us don't wanna have sunshine pumped up our arses. If we see something we feel is silly, we're going to rip it.

I've said it before & I'll say it again: Welcome to the zoo, just be careful what you feed the animals.

seriously? you're acting butthurt because you're not getting any play on an idea that you tossed out for the masses to talk about. guess what not every idea is a great one, and you aren't going to get a good play out of an idea like.. lets trade for tebow and revive the wildcat. deal with it and move on man.

He's hard to pass up if he was released... I dont think he's a good QB "AT THE MOMENT." His work ethic is insane from what I hear. With hard work you never know what could become of him. The guy is a PROVEN leader, something our Dolphins need. I certainly wouldnt make him a starter this year thats for sure but Id certainly keep him as a project.

I would pick him up after he's been cut and move him to H back but trade for him to play QB.......NO WAY

Pretty much took the words out of my mouth. It's too early to count him out.

First of all i am not a Tebow fan,
But, ss weird as it sounds.....I might have to agree. As our 3rd QB. Then who knows, maybe into a monster TE.

Of course this is assuming he gets cut and we dont have to give up ANY picks for him.

I'll take 22 Tim Tebow's on my team all day everyday.... just not at the quarterback position, and not with his inflated contract. I was of the opinion that Tebow was a developmental quarterback prospect coming out of college because of his massive mechanical flaws.

It's not his fault he was drafted too high, but that's a credit to his legendary college career, relentless work ethic, pristine character, and rare leadership ability. Kids (quarterbacks) with flaws like he had don't sniff the 1st round... he was a special case.

I'd take him as a developmental prospect over any QB Miami currently has on the roster behind Chad Henne, but he's not worth trading for due to his 1st round contract.

Tebow is the type of guy who's never going to look good in an NFL practice environment where everything needs to be clean, crisp, efficient, detailed, and timed to perfection... due to his mechanical flaws. However, in a game situation... he'll rise to the occassion. I'd probably trust him in the clutch moments of a 4th quarter game when the pressure is on more than I would Kyle Orton... even though Orton is the type of QB who's a superior practice player and stat padder.

If he was cut or released, I'd absolutely take on the Tim Tebow challenge and let him continue to refine his mechanics... it won't ever be pretty, but he could be effective. There are quarterbacks in this league that have been around a lot longer than Tebow has, who are a lot easier on the eyes... but still no more effective than Tebow has been in his limited action.... and don't get nearly the same criticism because they're not polarizing figures.

Would Tebow be an upgrade over Devlin or O'Donnel? If so, then why not bring him in? What's to lose?

Im not hurt about anything, its just unreal you immediately bring up the he sucks crap every time a topic is presented on the site.

I think a kid could come up with more valid points.

I never said I wanted Tebow to come in here and start over Henne. If he were to be released signing him and having him compete against Moore would bring some depth and compitition to the QB position.

You then create packages for Tebow, and use him for short yardage and goal line situations. It will give teams something else to game plan for and nice weapon on our team. And lets be honest who ever has followed this the Tebow situation in Denver knows that the Broncos are really pushing out Tebow. Check his stats, watch his play last year, he is not as bad as some of you are putting him to be.

What would you rather have Henne, Moore, Unknown or Henne, Tebow, Moore.
