 There is a lot of meritable clamouring about drafting Oline next year with DBrick, eric winston, Mcneil, winston justice, andrew whitworth, john scott, max jean gilles, mike degory, davin joseph, and jeremy joseph, among others, making it THE draft for olinemen.
But Im wondering what part we should play...
If Stockar Mcougle indeed doesnt stay with us after his one year contract is up, then i wouldnt hesitate to draft a lineman.
 However, if he stays, should we draft a LT, particularly if he isnt the BPA? a mid round pick could net us, for example, andrew whitworth, who would replace vernon carey at LT. WHat would we do with Vern then? Put him on the bench? Move him to RG and move rex to C, which was where i thought he was touted when he was drafted, but who knows if can he even play there at this level.
i could live with a line that looked like:
whitworth james hadnot carey mcdougle
 If we can actually draft someone like dbrick, that line would be so ridiculous, esp coached by houck. but i think im coming to the conclusion that if stockar stays, then we should not draft a lineman at all. Unless of course Vernon and DMac suck suck suck, which i dont see happening. I also think that guard is one of the least of our worries. the only way we should draft a lineman is to replace the current weak link, C, like Mike Degory, in rd 3 or so. but how many seasons in a row can you switch everybody up?
:shakeno: ive been going back and forth on this and i was just wondering if someone could enlighten me about what would make the most sense. one minute im talking myself into it and, next, out.
