Should we send Sage Rosenfels packing to Chicago?

They'll probably start Kyle Orton and we'll regret even more not drafting him.

EXACTLY! Too bad it was Travis Daniels we drafted a few slots before Orton was taken and Lord knows we need CBs. Especaially one from LSU.

Jamar Fletcher over Drew Brees

Hopefully Daniels will stick around for a long time and not get traded to Chicago in 3 years for a malcontent Muhsin Muhammad! :goof:

Wow. Tough tough break for Grossman. He actually looked good vs us last week.

I say see if they are interested in Sage, and keep Brock. Yes he did throw an interception, but he also showed great poise, and command on the field! Who knows maybe if they are deep in CB's we could obtain some more depth that way.

SAGE IS NOT EVEN WORTHY OF BEING AN NFL BACKUP, he is happy making a paycheck holding a clip board and he will continue to do so for the rest of his career.

what have you sage supporters been watching the past few years?

IN THE NAME OF BIG BREASTED MADONNA are you people loco or what. i have been hearing great things about sage ,for he has a strong arm and he doesn't go down with a injury when someone sneezes like you boy a.j feely
sage is a pro bowl qb wheter or not you like him personally . admitt it troops sage is the next marino so get used to it. well a big strom is coming ,so i will be back to refute any arguements that you shouldn't have but probally you will throw out there.

well since it looks like Daniels is going to start for us now i don't think it was such a bad idea to pick him. but yes Orton looks like the real deal

why would they want Sage? he is a 3rd string
they want at least a 2nd

I think thell pick up a Veteran QB from Free Agents and go with the rookie they drafted.

Because they don't have anything better.

Sage would have a good shot at beating out Chud. Orton is way way raw.

I think they might be willing to part with a 5th. Maybe a conditional one that could reach a 4th.

I thought about this last night listneing to all the late night radio shows saying how Chitown was screwed.

It's hard to get hurt when you only play about 4 or 5 quarters in the preseason and then hold on to a clipboard for the next 16 games in the safety of you're own sideline.

Rex Grossman suffered a broken ankle Friday night against the Rams. He will be out 3-4 months, at least half the season.

Sage Rosenfels played impressively against the Bears (albeit in the 3rd quarter against the 2nd string defense). And, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Ron Turner the brother of Norv Turner and they basically use the same system? If that is the truth then Sage should already know the basics of their system and terminology.

Brock Berlin has played impressively for us. I think we should feel out the Bears and see what they think. I'd like to see Brock Berlin kept on this team (and god does it pain me to say that after watching him play for my beloved Canes)

Well, perhaps..but the Bears have several 3rd string QBs on their roster...why would they want another one ??
