Sick Offense If all hold True!

What makes anyone think Ricky is still in shape after all that?

Not to mention do you think Ricky made or will make his decision to return yesterday. If he's coming back he's known it for awhile and is probably working out. He will probably report to Miami at his usual 228Lbs.

David Boston is rarely healthy. It is a sick offense except the offensive line will take time to develop, and the QB position has 2 career backups trying to start.

Yes but dont underestimate what a good OC can cover up with play calling. If the OL cant block very well you call screens, and short routes. Thus shortening the length of time the OL has to block. If they cant run block you use dump off passes basically as your passing game. These are all things the former regime didnt understand. If fact Wanny said that they called more deep passes.....Yeah the OL cant block and you want the QB to throw deep routes, and people wonder why our QB's looked so bad last year!

Do you remember the Rams with all that offensive talent and a qb with no back up experience and the only qbing on his resume a stint in the Arena Football League. Didn't turn out too bad, did it?

C'mon your gonna have to have a better arguemen than that. Chris Chambers and Marty Booker can't compare to Bruce and Holt. That offense in STL was ridiculous, and to think that Feeley is going to have an MVP season like Warner had that year is a bit far-fetched IMO.

Chambers and Booker and Boston can't compare to Holt and Bruce that year? Holt and Bruce combined for 1900 yards receiving and 18 tds. Last year with a horrible offense Chambers and Booker combined for around 1900 yards and 15 tds. Throw in Bostons average yearly output when healthy (knock on wood) of over 1000 yards and 5.5 tds a year and that makes for some pretty comparible numbers, don't you think?

Oh my God... whoever made that initial post needs to have his head examined.

I love our team, but the offense is AT BEST, average.

Why average? I think we have made a ton of improvements from last year. Most importantly, in the coaching department (Linehan and Houck compared to what we had last year)

if everything turns out just the way we hope then its entirely possible that this could become a top 5 offence...

and i'll win £1m a day for the next five years and every supermodel in the world will want to sleep with me, but i'll be too busy working my way thru all the actresses and pop-stars to care...

sorry to rain on anyone's parade, but think its possible that a few folks are getting carried away here...

Rickey has alot of time to get Football ready. He is a monster stud so if rest assured by game 5 he'll be more than ready.

I read somewhere that he was down to around 185 lbs. Thats not just a little weight, thats 40 lbs. 40 lbs is not that easy to regain, no matter what shape you are in. Well I take that back with all fried food washed down with your choice of alcoholic beverage at every meal, you could put on 40 lbs.

He doesn't have the build to ever get down to 185. He's too stocky.

no way. You don't lose muscle mass that quick. I could see twenty but there is no way 40. He would have to be dying from aids to loose that much weight that quick. Some good food choices and an off season of working out will bring him right back up to playing shape. This is going to be a good season.

just as i thought. this was in the herald today: I edited this after i found this

The Dolphins also have to figure out a plan for using Williams once he can play again. Williams has lost approximately 25 pounds since retiring and weighs about 200, according to those who have seen him.

WEIGHT NO PROBLEM?

Williams has said he believes he can play at that weight but also could gain 20 pounds quickly.

Just as important as Williams' physical condition, the Dolphins will make a substantial investment in running back Ronnie Brown, the No. 2 overall pick. Brown is expected to receive a signing bonus of at least $14 million as part of any contract he signs.

The downside with Brown is that he has never had more than 175 carries in a college season, and it's questionable whether he could adjust quickly to a heavier workload.

That makes the need for another good running back very strong and could make for a good role for Williams for at least the upcoming season

Ricky is going to suck and then you guys will be preaching to trade him but then he won't be worth ****

Ricky will do alrite... he aint going to lose him ability. What makes him a great RB is not going to leave him.

We won't be able to get CC, Boston, Booker, Randy, Ronnie and Ricky all on the field at the same time because we'd need a QB and 5 linemen.
