sigh...Tim Tebow

We have seen Pittsburgh go all in to stop the run and get burned in the passing game. With as bad of a defense as they have, especially pass defense, how would you defend against Denver if you were Belicheck? Would you leave your corners playing alot of man after what just happened to the Steelers, considering that your corners aren't that good? Do you leave some help back and trust your front seven to stop the run?

Yeah, you have a good point.

Even with the Putzburgh defense being as beaten up as it was, its light-years ahead of what the Hoodie is gonna put out there next weekend.

The other aspect is the Denver D actually lines up pretty good against the Cheatriots. IF Miller and Dumerville can hit him early and hard, Denver might run away with another one.....

Then why hate him? Does he proclaim to be anything other than what he is? Sure, some of his "fans" are over the top, but not Tebow. Why hate Tebow because of where he was drafted or the position he plays etc etc? What does Tebow do, specifically, that makes people hate him? Again, he's a team player, he's a model citizen, he's a hard worker....what is bad about the guy?

Do you hate the non-religious? Probably not. You probably would get annoyed with me if I made every single situation into a display of my beliefs though.

you guys are underestimating beli with 2 weeks to prepare...i can tell ya that

the only guy the pats have to worry about as a receiver is d thomas...put mccourty over him and have the single safety shade to his side and man up everyone else across the board and see if tebow can beat you with his arm...i don't think he can...

what you have to worry about is loading the box on first down and tebow banging you off pa against man coverage...but keep a safety deep and you can limit the rac if he does complete it...i would absolutely be shading d thomas all over the field...

Right, no he is not fragile, but on any givin play, he puts himself into much more of a position to get hurt. He runs...well, like a fullback. Once he crosses the line with intent to run, he becomes open target for all D-lineman and linebackers, most of whom are much bigger yet just as fast as he is.

I'm suggesting, due to the fact he is primarily a running weapon, a fullback-rumbling type running weapon, his odds of getting hurt are astronomically higher to get hurt than 95% of the other QB's in the league.

I agree. However, most LB's aren't "much bigger" and he's bigger than any CB or S.

Hell, you could kneel down or point to the sky, for example, and be thanking Santa Claus while doing so...I wouldn't care. That's basically all Tebow does except replace Santa with God. (Not saying that God and Santa are both make believe) And then when the media asks him about it over and over and over he answers their questions.

i thought it wasnt about religion?

Its not about religion on a whole. Its about flaunting his faith in what IMO is an over the top and attention seeking way.

I dont care if he thanks God for health and safety/winning/whatever after the game. Thats not over the top. Its a brief nod to the deity he believes in. Theres a difference between that and what he does. He makes a spectacle out of his faith on the sideline and it rubs me wrong. The Bible even speaks against making prayer a show. He can pray to himself as Im sure many others do and thats fine. If one of his teammates is going through something, he can go to them and give them support and let them personally know he is praying for them. Thats fine. I dont need to see it flaunted everywhere while I watch football though. And I get that a lot of it is the media's fault, but he fuels the fire and I have every right to be annoyed by it.

lol, you think tebow is trying to annoy you? thats who he is, praying and kneeling and all that is apart of tebow and his life. If it bothers you or anyone else im sure tebow would love to stop doing it but you know what, he cant because its apart of him. He grew up in christianity, its who he is. Getting annoyed over someone praying or w.e is childish. Its his life, he is entitled to do what he pleases right? if you hate him so much you dont have to watch him right? its not like he plays for the dolphins. Im no tebow fan but i call it like i see it.

Does it matter lol?

And no Im not annoyed at someone praying. Im annoyed because I think he makes a spectacle out of it and it comes off as pretentious to me. Its not like I get offended. Im borderline unoffendable. It just annoys me a little when I perceive him that way and a ton of people are acting like he is literally God's messenger to Earth. I know lots of devout Christians who dont drop to their knees in the middle of their work place and pray so people can see.

And i can also bet that any of your devout christian friends arent in the NFL a competitive sport where winning is everything and is also very dangerous with injuries and concussions ect... Any advantages you can get that is legal i dont see a problem with it.

Does it matter? well, thats a question you have to answer for yourself, you going to hate someone because of the way they were raised by there parents? well thats your choice.

While I might not agree with it, I get how some people might get annoyed or off put by him wearing his religion on his sleeve. Heck, smug no-nothing actors who flaunt their political agendas irk me. But you said you hated him as in 3 reasons I hate Tim tebow, so I'm wondering if that is just hyperbole or do you actually hate him. Being annoyed by someone's action is one thing. Despising them is another
