sigh...Tim Tebow

And i can also bet that any of your devout christian friends arent in the NFL a competitive sport where winning is everything and is also very dangerous with injuries and concussions ect... Any advantages you can get that is legal i dont see a problem with it.

Does it matter? well, thats a question you have to answer for yourself, you going to hate someone because of the way they were raised by there parents? well thats your choice.

He was raised a God fearing, praying man. Fine. He should pray then. Again, I dont know anyone who drops to their knees in the middle of their workplace and prays so people can look at them and know they are an awesome Christian.

While I might not agree with it, I get how some people might get annoyed or off put by him wearing his religion on his sleeve. Heck, smug no-nothing actors who flaunt their political agendas irk me. But you said you hated him as in 3 reasons I hate Tim tebow, so I'm wondering if that is just hyperbole or do you actually hate him. Being annoyed by someone's action is one thing. Despising him is another

Oh, hate is a strong word when you take it in a literal sense. I dont "hate" Tebow. Thats casual/internet talk. I may joke about it, but I dont want him to get hit by a car or anything. I dont want him to have real life struggles and problems. I just hope the Broncos lose lol.

Not even this week though...can they both lose?? FML.

Right, no he is not fragile, but on any givin play, he puts himself into much more of a position to get hurt. He runs...well, like a fullback. Once he crosses the line with intent to run, he becomes open target for all D-lineman and linebackers, most of whom are much bigger yet just as fast as he is.

I'm suggesting, due to the fact he is primarily a running weapon, a fullback-rumbling type running weapon, his odds of getting hurt are astronomically higher to get hurt than 95% of the other QB's in the league.

I don't buy that argument. As a player I would have taken 5 hits with my shoulder lowered into someone than one on an unprotected and extended body in the throwing motion. The injury risk is so much higher when you don't know where the impact is coming from.

So your disdain for tebow is on par with your disdain of the pats? If the broncos were playing the jets in the afc title game who would you root for. No cop out answers like neither or I hope the building crashes. Not judging, just truly and honestly curious. I actually find the whole tebow dynamic and how polarizing it is fascinating.

Seeing chris carter on mike and mike today i could see in his carter just how much he hates tebow. He doesnt hate tebow because of his playing style, he hates tebow out of religious hate.

Im actually rooting for the Broncos in both cases. If the Broncos win this week, as much as I dislike Tebow I hate the Pats plus I know way too many Pats fans and Id be able to LOL at them for weeks. The Jets...well, they are on par with the Red Sox for me as far as hated teams.

I just think it's amazing how a guy that everybody says sucks so bad... wins..

Unreal. The years best story in football. Regardless if you like the guy or not. The fact that there is almost 40 pages of this conversation.. more than ive seen over ANY Dolphin topic since I've joined in 2004, says a lot about his ability to polarize opinions.

Incredible.

i also find it funny that you put him on your sig, im starting to think your his biggest fan lmao.

I doubted tebow pretty much all year, but its time to eat crow. The guy takes a division dweller to the playoffs and beats the #1 defense in his second year. On top of that he's a good guy off the field. I really don't think hes so open about his religious beliefs as a marketing technique or for attention. I just think he has so much faith running through him that the first thing he thinks to do is thank God for the opportunity

So for the people that "hate" Tebow, it's not about his faith, but his expression of it? Do the Jews with the curls on the side of their head disdain you or the Hindu with the dot on their forehead, how about the Rastafarian with their dreadlocks or the turban or the robe worn by many Eastern religions. We live in a free land and if he wants to express his faith openly, so what? And what exactly is he doing? Thanking his God, Jesus Christ-actors, musicians and other athletes do this all the time. Praying on the field-how many football players have you ever seen do this? His sideline singing is not meant for us or public expression. We only hear that because of the mikes there.

Yeah and you normally don't see it during the game, atleast not earlier on. You only heard or saw that stuff on the shows after the game. It's absurd the reason people don't like him, alot of the attention is given to him, he doesn't seek it. What I mean is the cameras didn't focus on it durin gthe games early on until they wanted to make such a big issue out of it.

Just curious. Was there an outroar of hate for Big Ben when he pointed to the heavens and thanked the lord after the game tying TD? Just curious
