Simon gives trade options

We are thin / aging in the middle of the line no matter how good. Simon would help fill a need. Maybe the original poster thought having another player means we need to get rid of someone and getting Simon would push us to deal Gordon or Thompson a little faster??????????????? I dunno.

Uhh, did we forget a couple people? There are 3 young DT's who have made alot of noise and shown promise at least for the future if not for the present. Wright and Shaw should be able to help in 1-2 years and Vickerson will play this year. All of these guys are under 25. On top of that, Simon is 29 and would not help our youth. Our D-line is okay the way it is and we shouldn't put another large contract into a defensive player.
