I want the Lions to take it all this year with at least one lost going into the playoffs: Keeping our team as the sole undefeated team ever.

Now it's time for your vote and comments.

won't happen...the lions are too young...they'll probably go one and done depending on the matchup in the playoffs but its a nice story

right now i'd probably say green bay takes it again but if cliftons out long term i think thats gonna severely hamper that offense...and might be their undoing

I think the Lions will give GB all they can handle. The defensive line is beastly and Javon Best is making life great for the Stafford to Johnson connection.
The Lions are for real and here to stay.
I hope they do well this year, their fans have suffered enough.

The Lions deserve something positive to finally happen in Detroit. They've been the under dogs for a long, long time and I always root for the under dog outside our division during any given Sunday.

I'll be rooting for the Saints, though that has more to do with my love of the city and it's people. The Saints playoff game against the Arizona Cardinals was the most fun I've ever had at a football game.

I'm rooting for the Panthers.

We lost to the Penguins last night though.

:(
Could be worse. You could be a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. It's the only team I can think of that has wallowed in mediocrity longer than the Phins.

The Lions have been my underdog team for many years. They have gotten smart and Drafted Matt Stafford and CJ out of the South (SEC rules).

Now my underdog team is semi changing to the Miami Dolphins.

Underdogs? I think what you mean is that they've flat out sucked *** their whole existence.

Well, that's not accurate at all. They were a perennial contender at one time, but it has been quite a while.

To the OP, a poll would've been good here.

I like the Lions, hard not too. I think Green Bay still has to be the favorite, they are just so damn deep everywhere, and that defense is SOLID.

The Lions still have some questions along the O-Line, and depth at WR.
They do have Burleson go compliment CJ, and I don't think they have even begun to tap into Pettigrew's potential.
If Best and Stafford can stay healthy, aside from 2 or 3 spots along the O-Line, that is a very very potent offense.

The defensive line is obviously looking pretty damn good, and Fairley hasnt even played yet. How much better is that going to make Suh?
2 of the 3 Linebacker spots are very solid IMHO. Have to see how Durant looks when he comes back from injury. Barbie Carpenter finally made a play, but he still SUCKS and is a serious liability too often.

That defensive backfield is definately "Good enough".

If Green Bay slips at all, they could really push the envelope, and yeah, I guess I would consider them an odds-on personal favorite.

I agree to a point. The great things about the Lions is that they are young and HUNGRY (pardon the pun).

They play with heart and fire. Schwartz has lit a fire under those guys and they come ready to play every week. They believe in Stafford, and he plays like he's in full command. Unafraid to make mistakes, and is willing to put the game on his shoulders regardless of the punishing price. It rallies team to all give the best and rip their guts out. They may not go all the way.. but I certainly am rooting for them!

Sure, but that's just cause you live in North Detroit :D
