"In terms of measureables, Kyle Orton does possess the prototypical size for a Quarterback. He's a tall, decently built and in terms of physical skills, he possess good mobility. He isn't a burner, but he's able to get outside the pocket and he's athletic enough to be effective on the QB draw (something he did quite a bit in Purdue's spread offense). His arm strength is only average. His passing is limited to underneath and intermediate routes. He also has a bit of a slow release, and this is partially due to his throwing motion. Playing in a spread offense, Orton has worked almost exclusively out of the shotgun."
