So Henne's still not god enough for the haters?

By this philosophy, Matt Ryan isn't good enough either. Damn, alot of teams need to visit the "elite QB" tree and find something ripe for the pickings. Eli Manning won a damn Super Bowl man . . . can we let the season finish. Henne looked seasoned out there, yea not elite, but there are only a handful of QB's that are elite in this league . . . there are 32 teams . . . everybody isn't going to have an elite QB.

okay so lets settle for mediocrity. you are exactly right there are 32 teams in the NFL and all 32 of them passed on Henne at least once.
and when did I ever Mention Matt Ryan. the only thing ill say about Ryan is i think he gets exposed as a fraud this year. but your right lets settle for Mediocre play calling and not even try.
as for the Elite QB Tree. someone is out there, ask the Cardinals, they found theyre elite QB bagging groceries.
but your right. lets settle for mediocre

How many passed on Brady?

Just sayin'

LMAO its funny you say don't bring up Trent Dilfer . . . but you bring up the one person who was bagging groceries as a potential future HOF. wow, a 1 and a million shot

Let me go scout Publix today

How about Brad Johnson and the Bucs??? That happened just 2 years later. Do you want to hear about that one???
Yea remember that Super Bowl he won? the one where his Defense scored almost half the points in the game? he really had a long carreer for the bucs right? oh no wait he was a flash in the pan.

Let me get this straight. i want this team to be a dynasty. not some lucky streak one SB appearance then back to sucking one hit wonder. i

Henne's a good qb. He looked good even in the face of pressure and made several plays out of nothing... he's someone to keep an eye on.

Really! Kinda a wasted thread. I havent seen one person say anything negative about Henne's performance last night.
I dont think people are hating on Henne, he played great last night. Would like to see him throw a catchable fade in the EZ though. Man those bad boys were sailing miles over Brandon's head.

Mentioned dilfer in an earlier post mr. I'm awesome at reading and comprehension.

IMO, the hard-wired haters who are so invested in their agenda being right, that they're unwilling to give even begrudging credit to Henne where its obviously due, says a helluva lot more about them, their own lack of objectivity and the credibility of their subsequent posts than it says about Henne. :idk:

(BTW i dont want to hear about the Dilfer Ravens, that is the exception that proves the rule. it will never happen again)

Kind of kills the Kurt Warner argument . . .because there are many more exceptions of mediocre QB's winning Super Bowls than grocery bagging ones.

So apparently one decent game wipes out two years of mediocre play? No, he's still an average quarterback who still can't consistently throw a touch pass. And at the end of the day we still only had 17 points on the board, halfway thru the 4th. If you're cotent with that, you're content with being mediocre as well.

Please tell me you are kidding!!! Anyone who even spends their time to come on here and even mention Henne in the conversation about that loss is a complete idiot! When your defense doesn't show up like that is really doesn't matter, you can't win a game. Yes, he needs to really work on his fade/touch pass, but Henne played great and saying otherwise is just an exercise in stupidity! Don't waste our time by coming on here to ignore the real problem find a way to pin anything last night on Henne. Our defense SUCKED!!!!

oh and where did i call Warner a potential HOF? can you point that out to me? just put a bunch of lame smiley faces in your post to cover up your lack of an argument. i was saying they are QB options out there. beyond Matt Moore

Let me spell it out for your sparky. You said that teams need an elite QB to do anything in this league. Your time sample was 10 years. Then you said Trent Dilfer was the only exception and didn't want to hear about it. I pointed out that Brad Johnson, another sub par QB, won the superbowl just 2 years later. Get it now???

So Henne trows for over 400 yards, 2 TD's and runs for another one and he still "sucks".

I'm pretty sure you are just making things up here. I havent seen 1 negative post about Henne's performance last night. It actually sounds like you are just hoping the haters are still hating so you can make a point.

IMO, the hard-wired haters who are so invested in their agenda being right, that they're unwilling to give even begrudging credit to Henne where its obviously due, says a helluva lot more about them, their own lack of objectivity and the credibility of their subsequent posts than it says about Henne. :idk:

Exactly! They are programmed to hate on Henne and cannot or will not be able to direct their hate elsewhere.

Yea before this was a passing league. go build a time machine and go back to the 80s when a decent QB would win you the super bowl. ignore the qualifier "the last decade" i put in my argument and lets talk about how the game was played 20 years ago... wait a minute is this Tony Sporano?
