So Henne's still not god enough for the haters?

Yea before this was a passing league. go build a time machine and go back to the 80s when a decent QB would win you the super bowl. ignore the qualifier "the last decade" i put in my argument and lets talk about how the game was played 20 years ago... wait a minute is this Tony Sporano?

Who?

oh and where did i call Warner a potential HOF? can you point that out to me? just put a bunch of lame smiley faces in your post to cover up your lack of an argument. i was saying they are QB options out there. beyond Matt Moore

I called Warner a potential HOF, not u . . . because he definitely is being considered for the hall of fame. He not only is the exception to the rule, he is the ONLY exception. It wasn't a lack of argument . . . any argument that is leaning towards an attempt to find another qb after last night lacks substance to the reality of this teams current state.

So I suggested lets hit up the local Publixes and find our QB . . . since you mentioned Kurt Warner bagging groceries. I'm sure Tony SPORANO hasn't checked there yet.

Henne has to improve on his goalline throws . . . no question.

But I tell ya, anybody looking to scapegoat Henne as the reason we lost last night absolutely need to take that **** elsewhere . . . because this defense laid down last night. They weren't prepared, this dominant dline let this new Pats oline dominate them. They couldnt rush Brady, the secondary had an awful night . . . every last member of the secondary played bad. Our 2 inside guys had bad nights. Misi was AWOL. Cam Wake was the only person playing decent, and he was getting handled by a rookie most of the night.

Gut check time for this defense next week against the Texans . . . they can make all of it go away by standing up and locking down that high powered offense. I hope Mike Nolan has a good gameplan, because he was manhandled this week.

The best, most reasonable post I've seen on this board in a long time. I swear this forum is unbearable at times. The defense was pathetic last night and was why we lost that game. I'm really concerned about that. There should be some gassers in their future.

Warner IS a potential HOF'er. He will get in someday.

there you go argue with my computer's spell checker

there you go argue with my computer's spell checker

The computer doesn't usually correct PROPER names

You should try putting Finkle into Microsoft Word . . . it comes up with a red line, doesn't mean you spelled it wrong. Some of this **** you need to know.

Let me spell it out for your sparky. You said that teams need an elite QB to do anything in this league. Your time sample was 10 years. Then you said Trent Dilfer was the only exception and didn't want to hear about it. I pointed out that Brad Johnson, another sub par QB, won the superbowl just 2 years later. Get it now???
Yea and Gruden having wrote the opposing team(raiders) playbooks had nothing to do with that win. Tampa's players said they all knew oaklands plays before the snap. had nothing to do with it.
o and i restate, the defense scored 21 of the teams 48 points. elmer fudd can win you a super bowl if your coach knows exactly what the other sideline is calling. so Henne and cheating. thats whats gonna lead us to the promise land

We lost this game because of the Defense.... Not Because of Henne. He did enough to win the game if the Defense would have showed up.

I added the name to my spell checker, some time ago, don't ask why it auto completes and Im sick of going back and changing it. any football you want to talk about?

Henne looked much improved last night & unlike last year he didnt kill us with crucial ints but we do need to seriously improve our goal-line offense which was terrible last night just like it was last year. I agree that if we play better defense then we had enough points to win but to get inside the 10 on more than one occasion and come away empty...Bad news.

The defense at least gave us the ball at the 3 yard line, the offense put up drives to score 17 points, not exactly lighting it up. plenty of blame to go around. Wasn't this the Pats that the homers around here said were slipping?

Henne made monumental strides last night! Just has to learn to use Marshall size on the goal to go throws and toss up jump balls it is either a TD or a PI! Now all we need to see from him is consistent play! I loved the leadership he showed last night!
